Skylanders has really given Spyro new life in "the amazing video game where toys come to life" so next year, they're gonna come out with another Skylanders game after GIANTS and since next year is the 15th anniversary of Spyro the Dragon I'll bet it's worth celebrating, right?

It's 14 years!!

I don't really consider Skylanders a Spyro game but, eh, at least Activision didn't completely dump Spyro like they did Crash. Instead they used him to launch an all-out assault on the "child adventure game" market dominated by Mario and company. >.>

This year it's 14 years but next year it's gonna be 15.

No doubt about that, I'm still waiting an answer by Activision for more than 8 Damn ******** MONTHS. Activision it's not going to listen to the Real fans, the only thing that this company listen it's to his own money like Moneybags LOL, no kidding...

Maybe for Spyro's 15th Anniversary, 20th Anniversary, or some other numbered anniversary in the future they could do something like "Sonic Generations" for Spyro. I think it'd be cool to see some levels throughout Spyro's numerous games be recreated. But, I doubt that'll happen. But, one can dream.

Except 1 out of the 3 gameplay styles would be quite bad unless Activision could make some major upgrades (Legend series I'm looking at you). >.>

Y'know, I'm thinking that they should make the next Skylanders game targeted not only for kids but for the fans as well, I heard on Gamefaqs that they were gonna add in old Spyro characters as Skylanders as well as Crash Bandicoot. Now that's definitely something to look forward to, right?

if this is spyro 15th anniversary they should make the fist 3 spyro games for Xbox360/PS3 it would be awesome to see them all in one game

It would be amazing if that was to happen.
But what would be even more amazing is that Activision would decide to create a classic Spyro game; a brand new one.
And have Skylanders as a completely different franchise.

He's been posting stuff like this everywhere. It seems like he wants Activision to make another Spyro game. But, honestly, while I would like that to happen as well, I don't dwell on it 24/7 like he does. I dislike when people repeatedly go on about making a new Spyro game. And I'm being honest about that.

Considering how DLC characters for Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale are going to start releasing at the beginning of 2013....

I think we should at least get an eventual addition of Spyro for next year, to celebrate the anniversary.
While I think the moveset should be focused around Classic Spyro, this game actually has a costume change feature, so his two alternate costumes could be LoS and Skylander Spyro, with Classic Spyro being default.

It may be unlikely, but he'd make for a great addition to the roster. I have been thinking up a very well balanced moveset for him that I may draw up some time.

It's actually pretty awesome to hear that most people are actually criticizing PAS for not having characters like Crash and Spyro. ^.^

In the case of Crash, it's a bit unfair, as he was the most requested character for the game. They were taking fan suggestions to, which influenced some of the already included characters.

It looks like there are spots on the character select screen for 16 DLC characters, so hopefully we get Crash and Spyro.

I kinda fear that it may be an issue of franchise rights or something. I mean, why else would they not include Crash if he was such a popular choice?

I heard Activision tweet that they wanted to work with Superbot to put Crash in the game. <.<;

I think that Lara Croft should be in the game too, although she kind of started off on three platforms, which was the PC, Sega Saturn and Sony PlayStation.

Then for Tomb Raider II and III it just came out for the PC and PS.

After that, for IV and V it came out on three consoles again, PC; PS and Dreamcast.

It all sort of changed from there really, but she had a large impact on PlayStation at the time.

I'm agree about Spyro, Crash and Lara Croft should be in PASBR >.<

Really? Wow I didn't know that but hey maybe

Crash can make it in the DLC next year, maybe Spyro too probally in his skylanders skin but let time tell that's all we can do for now.
