i am a member of a forum for vinylmation fans and they have moderators that attained moderator skills from darth vader.
if you say one thing that they don't like or call somebody out for being ridiculous (which is not flaming or trolling) they warn you, flag you, might even ban you while their moderator cohorts gang up on you and tell you how worthless you are.

for the most part this site regulates itself pretty well. although I do feel there are a few too many users that remind me of xbox live members (prepubescent people that think its cool to use bad language and gang up on other users). but besides those users most people are able to control themselves and have civil conversations.

There have been a lot of issues in the past that would have benefited from moderators other than Dark52. Time's when he hasn't come online until hours after the issue began. I think those situations are primarily the reason for a need in mods.

I dont want a mod job but I would like to help mods by telling about bad issues/trolls etc. I would. I am random sometimes but this puts me off that. I am going to help even though I won't be a mod.

I think there should be about 4 mods.

What I think is that there should be a mod for each section of the Forum, so that way it's easier for Dark to do his job.

Also, all mods can work together on the Spyro Games section since that's hella big

YEAH WORK TOGETHER!!!

And yes, all Mods should communicate frequently.
It'll help them learn about what to expect in some moments.

No. She shouldn't be. She doesn't come on frequently. Just because someone has a lot of gems does not mean they are automatically Mod worthy.

So far, the people that I wanted to be mods have said that they plan to shoot for it. So we are fine unless they don't get the position.

How he sent you that message just shows that Kappa would do whatever it takes to make me look like a bad guy to new users who join here, even sending false images claiming that it was me and spreading false claims about me.

If I become a Skyro mod... I might have to turn on him. But that will be duty, and follow duty is duty. If you suspended him either way... I don't think that would lead to great conclusions... he'd probably come back with a new account and spread moar lies...

What Kappa did, by spreading false claims and lies about a user and repeatedly harassing them, would be gnorc worthy. If he continued a few more times after he was suspended, Kappa would be banned.

If Kappa came back under another account, then he would be banned again.

That's why it says "Deal With It". It pretty much reads "Deal With It Aura". Not all kappatar users are like that though. I used to, but mostly only the reds and some immature greens who are like that.

I have done that, Bright. But apparently, Kappa wouldn't stop his trolling, and went as far as tell false claims about me to new users who join the forums.

I was wondering why some of the new users were lashing out at me previously, since I didn't do anything wrong to them.

I suppose he does deserve a spanking for that. I woulnt want my repution ruined due to lies, I gave had tgat in real life.

The thing is, Aura goes to the Skylanders section and enjoys posting there. However, whenever she tries to make a serious post there, Kappa and his "crew" bash and flame her, potentially ruining that part of the site for her. But then, it got even more serious. Sparx Color/Gem color doesn't matter! Don't call people idiot noobs if they are red are early Green. Some of them are actually very mature.

I'm extremely bothered by people repeatedly causing unneeded drama with the newer users. It's fine to tell them about what they did wrong if they did something wrong, but most of the time, people go to the guestbooks of the new users and say "lol ur a noob gtfo X D". Then they create topics about the new users if they respond to their trolling. I'm honestly sick and tired of it.

Before Pix was gnorc'd, he vowed to quit messing with the newer users. I wish some people would grow up and do the same, but still tell the noobs what they'd done wrong when they do something wrong.

this site is on the tipping point, Or it might have already passed it as far as flamming and rudeness are concerned.

I find it sad that it seems that so many people have so little to do that they end up harassing others.

I am sorry for my previous comment and we should all unite together as one. We all love spyro or skylanders, it doesn't matter what matters is that we are all people and deserve to be grated correctly not bullied or harassed by mean people.
