I got the online L stealth elf then went to walmart to see about sonic boom gitd and not one employee there could even point me to one of them. I think it was a hoax lmao. Other than that nothing new out there from what I seen

Bad luck here. Heading to Walmart now...

I was originally planning on going to Walmart, then to TRU.

Around 6, there was a thing on my local news station outside my local TRU showing the line wrapped around the building already. I said forget it and bought L-Stealth Elf online before I left.

I went to the first Walmart, no one had any idea what was going on and standing around everywhere. They only had a handful of the starter packs (I was told this is all they had) and that I couldn't get the deal for the 3DS pack.... Also, no Glow Booms anywhere.

Second store they told me that it should be for any, and lo and behold it rang up at the reduced price. They told me they saw a guy earlier wheeling a pallet out for the Skylanders figures, but I didn't see one anywhere so...no Glow Booms there either. That was the first time though I saw people with the 360 Bundle, which looks like it's in a HUGE box. Only saw 2 people with them though, so I have no idea where they got them from since I didn't see any anywhere.

I don't know if the stores were confused and put them out early, or people had snapped them up already or what, but...Walmart needs to get their stuff together if they want to do sales early like this.

Stores in my area were closed for Thanksgiving. My cousin brought her Camo and Warnado to dinner just to rub it in my face that I don't have them.

Lol. Mean cousin you got there. I never go hunting, so i dont know. In a commercial during charly browns thanksgiving, i could see skylanders behind the speaker at TRU.

Have yet to hit Best Buy. That's in three hours. Not going to wait in line.

I stumbled across a sparkly Sonic Boom while trying to get a starter pack for my sister at Wal Mart.

Hunt successful went online and ordered me 1 Legendary Stealth Elf (Only 1! So everybody gets a chance, the quantity's capped but Im not lookin for a quick buck.) *mutters* Stupid Scaplers

Not going anywhere. It's Thanksgiving.

I want to try out the new stealth elf wow pow, but I just can't stand the legendary color scheme. Bouncer looks just fine, but that is about it. He's also the only purchase that made sense so I have a Bouncer on both paths. All the S2s can switch paths and I'll have two copies of jet-Vac and chill with the Lightcores. Just gonna wait for the good looking stealth.

My US friend couldn't get a GITD Sonic Boom. Aww. They should have got more Sonic Boom's though.

Well, here in Canada there was no special event or anything, but I DID go Skylander shopping today since our Toys R Us FINALLY got wave 2. : D

I already have Sprocket and Flashwing, and don't care about the remaining Giants, so I was after series 2 figures. They had everything except for series 2 Hex, so I guess I'll have to keep looking for her.

Sure this isn't too newsworthy for anyone in America since these guys have been available there for ages, but I'm still happy to finally have series 2 Gil-Grunt, Bash, and Stump Smash. : D (Series 2 Bash is incredible by the way)

Next time Black Friday rolls around, don't go anywhere except Toys R Us. Just don't.

I was looking for the Wii U and Giants Wii U. Wal-Mart had Giants Wii U, but they hadn't even gotten one shipment of Wii Us, and Gamestop ran out, but they had Giants Wii U for regular price.

TRU had both. Multiples. At midnight, after Black Friday started at 8. Not only that, but they were on sale. Great!

Wal-mart had a million Glow Sonic Booms. No Wii U, but Wii U Giants, but it was regular price. So screw that. I left Gamestop before it even opened, because I was informed of the same thing.

I stuck gold at TRU, though, for said reasons above. We only have one in our town, so results may vary? Also, I don't want Jet-Vac and I might sell my old Cynder on ebay. Does that sound plausible?

Series 2 Drill Sergeant is a giant rip-off though. I remember back before we knew exactly what wow-pows were going to be like, I made a thread asking if you would feel ripped off if the only thing wow-pows did for some characters was increase the damage output for existing attacks. Of course everyone thought I was foolish for thinking such a thing, but that's exactly what Drill Sergeant's Wow-pow is. It's not surprising that it DOES feel like a rip-off, especially for a character that really could have used an extra attack. Really, series 2 Drill Sergeant's figure looks almost exactly the same as the series 1 figure. : (

Found GITD Sonic Boom at Walmart...a whole bunch of them in a cart just sitting in the middle by a bunch of toys

^really? I was debating about getting s2 drill sergeant, but a store tonight had buy one get one free and there was only one left. I picked him up and was really excited, even though I won't get him till Christmas. Now I kind of feel like I made a mistake though :/

Honestly, I disagree with you. I happen to love s2 Drill Sergeant. I think his Wow Pow is really good if you choose the path where you can shoot more rapidly. If you choose that path it does like 50 damage points every 2 seconds. Plus, it locks on to the enemys. Also i like s2 Drill Sergeants figure alot better than s1 because his rockets in the s2 figure are exactly how they look in the path.

I got off work at 11, so I did not expect to find any GSBs at Walmart, but they had about a dozen left. Yay. It won't help anyone this year, but here is a tip...
Walmart's website lets you download the BF map for your particular store. You can print it and know exactly where stuff is going to be put. At mine the Sonics were in the big isle between woman's accessories and canned food. The Xbox bundle was further down that same isle. They had tons of those left.

So the description is accurate- it hasn't even been invented yet!

Went to Walmart and picked up the Xbox bundle with green Gill Grunt. I never purchased a Xbox before so for $149 why not. Didn't have any GITD Sonic Boom's though. Next went to TRU and got the last couple L-Stealth Elf's. My son was happy. Hit another Walmart on the way home to see if they had any GITD Sonic Boom's there, but they didn't get any either.

Hrgh, sending my dad to help us find the figure variants. I already have the Rock Variants, and I need the Sparkle ones!

Toys R Us gave Vhraina and I six Skylanders figures for free because they had two offers up (Starter packs for $45 and B1G1 for $1) but the system would only allow one at a time. After I rightly called them on false advertising, they made it up to us by giving us the approximate value of a Giants starter pack in free figures. Since we were only there for L. Stealth Elf in the first place, and they randomly had a whole bunch of Wham-Shells, we got two of her (one for play and one to GameMaster up on our son's wall) and four of him (to eBay and buy more Christmas gifts--OMGscalpinglol). Afterwards, they went and pulled down the labels that were lacking fine print about exclusive offers, so I don't think anyone else will be enjoying my loophole at that Toys R Us today, but it's definitely something to try if you want to get some extra stuff at TRU's expense in your area. Not honoring the offers in some way is false advertising if they fail to say they're mutually exclusive, after all.

After that, we got glow Sonic Boom at Walmart, along with a bunch of books to read our son and a $38 LG Blu-Ray player.

So, total haul:

Giants Wii U starter ($45)
2x L. Stealth Elf (free)
4x Wham-Shell (free)
1x Glow Sonic Boom ($10)

What a steal. Glad we left the house.

There were about a dozen GITD Sonic Booms at my Walmart so I picked one up.

Toys R Us had every Skylander released so far, including about 10 Wham-Shells, but it was every Skylander except Hot Head. I wanted to cry.

Welp, I went out today and happened to find the Glow Boom. So I actually ended up getting everything I needed.
