I recently got my Jet vac to level 15 fully upgraded and he is just amazing! I took Bird blaster and it makes him an excellent projectile character, it's also really fun sucking up some enemies and then getting yourself a super shot! He is also amazing in pvp! Well done activision, you have made a great addition to the air element!

The suck path is really amazing (oh the iron knee). I feel it's actually a better path, especially with enemies who move around, like the Trog..uh..magician guys.

I really like bird blaster, it really hepls his projectile damage and for pve the piercing effect is nice.

Vac path is just okay. My friend told me that bird blaster is pathetic.

Vac-Packeteer is the pathetic path IMO. It's like picking between Golden Frenzy and Golden Money Bags.

Jet-Vac as a whole is disappointing in my opinion. Air still can't stand up competitively, because all it got was a mobile but average-strength Giant and a bird with no reliable attack(the Super Shot doesn't work at all in Battle). He's not even that fun to use unless you're in very specific situations. He adds little to the game, overall, and I was really looking forward to him...

I agree,magic and tech are the far superior Skylanders,although all Skylanders are great IMO,I guess that's why I love it so much

Many people say thatthe air elememt is at best average. The people who say that are just pathetic, all of them are much better than average, Whirwind kicks butt on tempest dragon, sonicboom is amazing either path, Lightning rod is great, All of the air element is above average.

He is amazing.

His Lightcore is good

Jet-Vac is lame. He's got a flight with a limited duration and slow speed, even upgrading it on its path still makes it have a duration. Seriously, such illustrious awesome dust-gatherers as, well, SPYRO get an unlimited use flight as a base ability.

His 'projectile' is low damage with short range. Only by going down the Blaster path (the only good one) is it able to become decently strong, thanks to its fire rate. Of course, he really doesn't have the mobility to use it, as he can't fly and shoot for very long before running out of air. It's also a pain since that 'super blast' isn't available very often in PvP...

His 'suction' attack is a neat idea, it just doesn't do enough. It also kinda overlaps, usefulness-wise, with his piercing projectiles, as both are great moves for mowing down hordes of small monsters (Chompies and the like). I'd rather have one move for that and another move for the projectile.

Also, his 'air blaster' and its shots look more like a Snowball Gun. They should have made Jet-Vac into a Penguin instead of a Hawk and had his gun with pretty much the same graphics with different sounds and make it an actual Snowball Cannon.

Air isn't that bad of an element. Sure, they're saddled with Jet-Vac, but they have Warnado (who, arguably, was heavily nerfed for Giants and lost his 'awesome' status) and Lightning Rod, both of who wreck faces. Whirlwind is great for Co-Op since he can heal, and I still say he's much more useful on his Rainbow Mortar path for both PvE and PvP. Plus, Sonic Boom is beastly powerful when you learn how to use her right. On the whole, it's definitely solid if a bit 'weird'. Plus, Swarm's awesomeness almost makes up for the pile of suck which is Jet-Vac...

In my opinion, Jet-Vac is a character that will suck unless you figure out his play style. You have to figure out how to best utilize his attacks. Once you figure this out, he's awesome, and capable of winning a PvP match.

I hate Jet-Vac so I think he sucks. In fact, I tend to use him as a last resort. He's the Gill Grunt of this starter pack.

He's not that strong, but he's definitely fun.

the vacuum path's damage is ridiculous, and you can escape once you get them to close range with the corkscrew.

See I think I'm gonna have to give Jet some more attention because I thought Gill was amazing the first time around. One of the easiest to beat the game with down the water path...Spears were worthless overall.

He sucks in PvP though, Jet-Vac is fun but weak.
