So it's widely speculated that the next Battle Pack will contain s2 Zap, the scorpian striker and Hotdog. And we also know there will (thankfully) be no variant of the striker. However, we do know there will be a Hotdog variant. do you guys think they'll do another store exclusive with Molten Hotdog? Just so we have to go and get another or two figures we already have? I just can't see Molten Hotdog getting his own single pack...

I hope they put Molten in the Scorpion Striker set so that we don't get a repeat of a Skylander and so we get to save money not having to buy more singles and triples.

Not if Molten Hot Dog is in the Battle Pack and Regular in a single pack.

I want regular hot dog in the battle pack since that will make him easier to find. Every store is massively overstocked on shroomboom battlepacks, so if the same is true for Hot-Dog, that will make the last character I want for Giants easy to get ahold of. The variant should be in a single though.

Do we know for sure that Hotdog gets his own single pack release? I thought that wasn't confirmed yet

We don't know that there won't be a Striker variant or a Single Hot Dog. For all we know they could be hiding them from us for whatever reason.

my only counter to that would be that they put up all the other items on universe, no striker variant.

Also, didn't someone reverse engineer the list of figurines in the game and found no Striker variant?

The Standard Hot Dog is for sure a regular, single pack item... I bought and reserved one online at TRU back when their online link was accidentally activated (for a few hours) and people could reserve their figures early! The second battlepack wasn't available so idk about that (maybe acti was still deciding what it would contain), but I can tell you standard hot dog will for sure be sold separate... so i'd love it if molten was in the battlepack, but I doubt that would happen!! lol

im not worried about variants. if molten hot dog comes in the battle pack thats just a bonus if the regular hot dog comes in the battle pack im cool with that also. as long as i get a hot dog thats all that matters.

It's purpose is Battlegrounds. It is too handy for anyone that has said game.

Matteo all I gotta say is this what's going on here?! How does this guy have Eye Brawl already does this mean he's coming soon? This is the first time we get to see official gameplay of him in game like as if someone was controlling him. I sure hope this means that he'll be available very soon.

But the figure and design are very bad and the figure and design are the primary reason to go for variants.

They hacked the game to get the characters. Better be careful, Matt. Activision browses these forum boards.

I just hope that the other variants are released pretty soon as well otherwise buying G.Crusher was kind of a waste

Now something sadly kinda bothers me, is it me or does 's proportions seem a bit off? He's taller and skinnier than his figure that seems more bulky and short compared to his in-game counterpart. He still looks like da-bomb and I will still be looking forward to him!

It seems the same to me.

The best part is that seeing that video makes look like one of the most strategic giants in the game. Picture it, the eye shoots while the body can attack blindly, but still attack and the eye doesn't seem to take damage as shown, but the body does. He seems to be a lot faster than I thought as you see him punching seems to give him a minor trust forward and he has a lot of potential already shown even at level one. He will surely be a very interesting character to play.

The striker isn't the varient like th cannon was. It would be Hot Dog himself as the variant. That also validates gamestop posting 4 battlepacks on their online store. 2 different battlepacks both with a variant of some sort inside.

Or, why not a variant triple akin to the legendary triple? Pearl, Jade, and Molten in a triple Pack!!!

D'awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww.... Hot Dog is ADORABLE. Not sure if he'll be in any good, but he wins the Cute award. If only Eruptor were good, they'd make a funny pair going along, a Lava Man walking his Lava Dog.

Eye Brawl is weird. He reminds me of Ignitor's ability to leave his armor and run around wrecking things, but instead of being a melee guy with an alternate for that is also a melee guy, you have a melee guy who can turn into a ranged guy. I'm hoping he's good. It still makes me twitch seeing a hat on that exposed eyeball though... urgh.

Do dogs run like that?
The animation seems a little non-canine-like.
Or maybe I'm thinking of how horses run.

I should probably let my puppy out of the cage an see how he runs to answer my own question.

on my computer the bottom right picture is just black. not even a picture.
