Any Walmart folks that know if All Giants Starters will be on sale tonight? The Wii or Ps3 or Xbox 360 and the Wii U? Thanks for your help. If anyone knows please let us know thanks.

Yes this is a good question. If the 3DS starter is not part of the sale then I'll just get the GITD Sonic boom on Ebay and purchase the XBox bundle online.

I just don't see the point of the hassle of falling in line and trying to beat the crowd for just the single figure pack.

It should be all of the console versions at the very least: at our Wal-Mart we got a box of the xbox version makred specifically for the event. Now with that said I didn't have a chance to see if they had a different UPC on there, so your best bet is to get there early and ask questions: if it's a different inventory they'll be in a different spot.

And yeah IIRC...this happened last year just like that. x_X

Thanks for the answers so far. I went to Walmart today and they said only the Wii version was on sale. They maybe didnt want to take the time to see if the Wii u was on sale for me or not. I have 96 glow sonic booms at my Walmart and they are on display by the toy department. I am going there at 6:00 tonight. I cant wait.......

I thought Wal-Mart started at 7?

walmart starts door busters at 8pm however people will stand in line to make sure they get what they want. I'm going to TRU at 7 and they open at 8pm as well.

I don't work for Walmart, but the sale has already started in my area and at quite a few hours before it is supposed to officially begin. I just bought the Giants starters for both 360 and 3DS at $38.96 each, so it makes sense that all starter bundles are on sale and not just the Wii one that was shown. Unfortunately, I didn't come across any GitD S2 Sonic Boom, but I'm not brave enough to fight the Black Friday Walmart crowds closer to sale time, so hopefully someone will be able to grab me a spare and not try to make a profit off of me or it'll be available online.

Just of note though, I'm starting to see a lot of starter packs at Walmart not including GitD Cynder anymore, so if you guys are interested and it's not 8pm in your area yet, you might want to head to your local Walmart and just buy the starters now. No problem getting a starter kit. I was able to pay before 8pm. The associate had to do an override so I could check out. As I was doing it another associate stopped others from checking out saying they weren't supposed to start until 8pm. I lucked out.

My Walmart was only selling the Wii versions for 38.00 told me the others were not on sale and when they tried to ring them up they were regular price. Suxs...

The first store I went to told me that it was only for the Wii version (they didn't have any of the 3DS version on the shelves), but the second I went to had a bunch of them out on the shelves, and it rang up at the sale price.

So it seems to be that the employees don't really know what's going on. I'd say, just ask them if they don't have that version on the shelves, and then walk up and checkout. If it doesn't ring up at the sale price, simply tell them you don't want it.

I think the price is good until the end of the day or at least 11pm on good friday.

I'll grab the GTID sonic booms for folks if any are left.

I got the 3DS starter pack for the 38 dollar sale price. At my Walmart all the Giants starter packs rang up for the same price. Only 3DS left and a couple Wii though.

Edit: Went at about 11 and there were a fair amount of Xbox bundles left. Only about 5 GITD Sonic Booms, 3 after I left.

Mine only had Wii and 360 ones (I ended up with 360 but would have preferred PS3) I think ours were just leftovers of their GITD stuff because they had the ones with normal cynder stocked on the shelves.

Our Wal-Mart had Wii consoles and one last Wii Giants starter set on a pallet a few aisles away from the gaming section, in the pet section. I got lucky getting that last copy.
