Those two look completely different to me. Sprocket has a darker silver color and sparkles a LOT more. Could be the lighting though. If these are real, I wouldn't mind finding the sprocket one as I think it looks better than the regular one. As for Sonic Boom, I'm going for the GITD one.

The first photo was indoors, the second was in sunlight, that will probably account for the color differences.

There may not be a third in the sets this time around, so far there have only been two stone variants, unless they plan to release at a later time.

Hmm. Well, that's interesting. You'd think we would have seen pics of them before though...I can't understand why they'd be out later on in the wave's lifespan.

I love it when people type a long string of letters like AAAAAAAAAAAAAARGGGGGGHHH! and it expands out into the negative zone of the forum page where all you can see is the background and just that one comment.

These are pretty awesome. I do recall seeing the Sonic Boom on ebay back when we weren't sure if it was legit or not.

these look pretty neat, they're getting better and more creative with the designs of varriants now.

Found another listing for the glitter/sparkle/whatever you want to call hit Sprocket. One of the large problems with these variants is that no one knows what to call them!

I wish I could find some of these so I can make some idiot pay for me new iPad. Much rather many other things than a sky lander variant that doesn't register in game. That's just me though. Its amazing what people will pay for these things.

It might partially light through the paint, but it probably looks like crap.

Well, I think we've seen at least one other of them on ebay...but.. hopefully we'll see some more though. I'd be willing to bet that these are whats going to be in boxes for Black Friday.
