So Black Friday is in a few days, and i was wondering what all of your plans are? How early are you going to get there? What skylanders are you planning to buy? How much money are you planning on spending? Where are you going to go?

So my plans are to wait there at about 6:00pm on Thursday and wait out outside of Toys R Us to try to get first pic. Then after that we'll just go all of the other stores!

I'm working that night, but a friend needed an xbox so I'm handling part of the cost for the controller + skylander stuff. Will probably grab the GITD Sonic Boom when it shows up too, see if it is indeed considered 'special' by the game, and return it if it isn't.

Probably gonna go to Walmart around 7 or 8, and I'll yell to the cabby "yo homes, smell ya later!". And I'll look at my kingdom because I'll finally be there. To sit on my throne as the fresh prince of bel air.

Hah, gotcha. But seriously, I'll probably go right around then and head to electronics to see if they have anything out. They *should* have the games and stuff sitting out already. I just want the 3ds thing and I'll carry that around until I see them putting out the gitd sonic boom.

L-Stealth Elf I have a feeling they'll probably have a ton of, and that's all else that I need so I'll go to TRU afterwards.

As for actual Black Friday, I'm not really sure yet where we're going besides JC Penny's for the Mickey Snowglobe. I'm not really in need of getting any other characters or anything so I'll be cool then.

I'm going to be hitting up Walmart on Thanksgiving night to try and get the 3DS pack with Punch Pop Fizz and GITD Sonic Boom. I with I knew someone who needed a new XBOX so I could absorb some of the cost for the green Gil Grunt and S:SA starter pack but I don't, and I can justify a new console, since I just purchases the Star Wrs console a few months ago.

If I can get out of WM early enough, I'll head to TRU for the legendary Stealth Elf.

Anyways my plan is to hit walmart for the Xbox360, GITD Sonic Boom, and one of the GITD starter packs. Then to TRU for L-SE and maybe that lighted display thingamabob that comes with that one display thingamabob. (I'm blanking on what they are called)

Yeah, luckily the manager at Gamestop knows my Mom so i can get info about everything including the waves and stuff so ill probably head over there. Im glad i have a crazy mom, because we picked skylanders over Thanksgiving dinner! ^.^

Walmart at 8 on Thanksgiving for a few GITD Sonic Boom. Taking a best buy ad with me to get any S:SA singles I need for $3 along with a couple WERDS. Alsowill see if Green Gill Grunt is in a little baggy outside of the bundle and if there is any way to get it.

Also contemplating getting the 3DS starter for a punch pop fizz and sell the rest off.

Just looked at Best Buy's online inventory and they have Warnado, Camo, and Wham Shell listed as "coming soon." If that means I have a hope of getting the trio for $9 ($2.99 each) when their sale starts at midnight after Thanksgiving, I'm there. I just hope they have a limit: "x" per customer or plenty of stock. There's nothing else out that I really want right now.

So, whats the deal with hot head? Is he rare or something because I found one at target yesterday

I'll probably hit TRU for the Legendary Stealth Elf on the way home from my parent's house Thanksgiving night.

They had TONS of her out on the shelf yesterday when I was picking up a few Wii U games, but wouldn't sell her. Oh well. If there was ANY other store that was selling her, I'd go there in protest. Oh well.

Probably not without getting in trouble for it, we've had some issues with missing freight in the back room and I'd rather not get suspected of it. I can tell you from what I saw of it it just looked like a regular 4GB Xbox 360 with a few stickers on the box advertising the contents.

I only hope to get the GITD Sonic Boom, unless wave 3 is going to be out there's nothing else I'm after.

If the boxes have "do not sell until 11/22" on them, does that mean they'll be able to sell them as soon as Thanksgiving, or 8PM?

We have a decent amount and given it's popularity it'll be an item people have to line up for, so need to worry about trampling. I haven't seen any GITD Sonic Booms yet, though now that I have the UPC from another thread I should be able to check and see if it came in at all tomorrow.

I'll be going to Wal-Mart to pick up the Starter pack. Also, I will stop in at TRU to get the L-Stealth Elf.

The plan....

Go to Walmart
Get GITD
Get a giants starter kit for my friend
Go to TRU
get any new characters
Get S2 guys
Get l-stealth elf and LC jet vac
Get a console bundle

For Black Friday itself, I am contemplating heading to the next town over to Best Buy to pick up any more singles at $2.99, then possibly go to TRU and get L-Stealth Elf.

I also plan n buying a video camera and tripod

will target? target might be a better place to hit for old singles, fewer people shop there (at least in my region) due to the prices

Its not only same town. My walmart will match Toys R Us and its about 12 miles away in the next town (same as Best Buy). If you read the fine print on the ads for different stores, it states local competitors are stores within a 25 mile radius.

You also have to consider that, even though there isn't a certain store in your town, there could be one right across the street from Walmart in the next town over.

Might be store specific then. Plattsburgh and Malone both follow the same rules I mentioned, so make sure to speak to the electronics *supervisor* before you go in. An associate is not always a guarantee, nor is customer service.

I've found it stated in the fine print of many ads "up to 25 miles".

My Dad and I will be heading to Walmart around 6pm to nab some bike he's getting my mom for christmas thats on sale there. And he said we'd hang out till 8pm to get me that GITD Sonic Boom and to get some Nabi Kids tablet for my son (Hopefully- this thing is popular) for christmas.

I may grab a few of the S2's I'm lacking (Like Hex, Drill Sergeant, Stump Smash, Flameslinger, and LC- Eruptor) < do believe thats ALL I'm lacking of all the waves currently out now. But my main goal is GITD Sonic Boom. I may grab 2 if I'm able. Not sure yet though.

My husband whimped out and refuses to do any Shopping with us so he'll be home doing whatever it is he does, and watching the kiddies, while I have shopping funzies.... LOL.

I'm not going near TRU. They've always had TONS of their exclusives, so I'm sure L-Stealth Elf will be easy to come by again before Christmas. Chances are, they'll have another B1G1 40% off sale again before then, too.

I bought the XBOX starter pack at WM for my son that I'm not giving him until next week. I'll be running by WM to see if it's on sale there and price adjust it or return it. I have my doubts the sale is for anything but the Wii version, though.

A WM tip for you: if you're interested in the video games they have for sale, skip the pallets and go to the video game dept. and get them out of the locked cases - they're the same bar code and will ring up on sale too. Also, we learned last year to go back in the middle of the night when things are being re-stocked (from the stuff people grabbed but didn't end up buying). It was AMAZING how much we couldn't get when the store opened but ended up finding later on.
