This. I was trying to stay out of this after I had stated my stuff on it earlier.

Arkeyan, I know this probably won't make sense to you but, I'll give it a shot.... As many people have stated on this thread, TRU is at fault for putting it out. One manager stated she could do the swap then another employee stated that she couldn't do that. They took it. Either the thing for her to do at this point would be to A: Ask for a refund or B: Take a figure that has been released and could be sold.

Both sides are at fault in this situation. However, TRU in the end tried to do the right thing. She did not, she went over and grabbed another one and walked out with it. As I have stated in earlier posts, people need to quit thinking of me! me! me! Do whats right for once and you will be fine.

P.S. You are teaching kids to be bullies. When they don't agree with something to just go to character attacks, no matter if they are true or not. Maybe we all need to grow up a bit.

Certainly doing your best to get one early huh!?..........I dont see any difference between this and the LSE situation. If they sold you one on ebay today and shipped to you tomorrow.....would you return it as its before the street date release??....hmmm I'm thinking not.

I do believe he stated that the "Thumpback" was a pre-order. So its technically not the same thing.

Not the impression I got as he stated that "he got his money returned to him as they didnt have enough to fulfill the order" insinuating that they would have had some to start with. If it was a pre order how would they know how many they would have?

Either way my point being is if they did have one and they sent him one he would hardly return it would he?.....therefore thats the point I'm making!.....contradicting the comments made in this thread.

What I did was pre-order it. Also, to make you even happier, my ordered got cancelled because they did not have enough stock. Pre-ordering and doing what Shadowfox did is different. I paid for it, but I still would have to wait for it until it was released. Nice try to make me look bad, however you have failed.

If you looked at the TRU Ebay page it was for Thumpback, it had the other pictures of the giants on it however it clearly stated in many places thumpback. I bought it, it was not going to ship until sometime after Thanksgiving. My guess is that being the 103 or 106 person that had ordered it at the time they maybe only had 100 or who knows they maybe had 0 and just put it up as a teaser. Either way what I did was a pre-order, not breaking the street date. If TRU didn't have any to begin with and just put it up to turn around and cancel peoples orders, shame on them. Nothing I have done is anything close to breaking a street date, stealing or whatever you are trying to say that I did.

If you don't see any difference, it's only because you are deliberately trying not to find one. These are two HIGHLY diverse situations with only the loose commonality of a street date uniting them. Bazinga is not being a hypocrite at all, and someone besides Bazinga has got to point this out too, so I'm calling you on it.

So theoretically!....if they happened to have a box laying around and shipped one out to you by mistake before the street date!...such as putting it on the shelf by mistake!.....having paid for it already you would then return it to them!?.....i'm still thinking that would be a no!! We can all come on here and say we would do this and do that given the situation but at the end of the day what we say and what we do are two different things. I'm sure.....no.....positive that the vast majority of people in these forums who if provided the opportunity to purchas LSE early would have done so and not questioned their morals at all and most definitely not have considered themselves to be labelled as a thief as the person who started this thread was.

I would like to say with this situation and LSE, my personal problem is that she went over and grabbed it after it was taken away and she was told no that she could not buy it. That is where I have a problem with this whole situation. Please can we move on? I am over it. As I said earlier, back when multiple people got the starter pack early, absolutely NOBODY cared. In fact, I beleive most were posting about how they were going to go to their Wal-Mary and see if they could get one. Did you guys suddenly get moral between then and now?

As a side note, I personally so not see this as having anything to do with morals. "Should I buy this $10 toy before it is supposed to be out?" is not a question of morals. And it's ridiculous to even try and put this into that category.

They had legendary stealth elf @ TRU in MI too, but after I tried to get one they took them off the shelf. They did put one on hold for me until Saturday tho...
