If looks good, just not perfect. You can work on placing the picture of the figure on the hand better, you can still see still the white parts surrounding the figure. But good job though! smilie

Oooh, we got gems! I only gots 12 this time...WHAAAAAA!

On topic: yes, listen to infinitus.if your using photoshop, use the magnetic lasso pn the figures outline. Thats what i do.

Oh I got 14 gems this week and now I'm a green sparx! smilie And I use the regular lasso tool on photoshop, maybe I should try using the magnetic lasso tool.

The magnetic auto-stays on the outline of skylanders. I find it quicker that way.

Photo editing/colouring is still an 'art' no matter how many people want to complain about it. Some are just done better than others.

I also do icons and it's pretty offensive to me, as someone with a whole Associates Degree in the stuff with digital editing, that people are getting uptight about it so much as to discount any work involved whatsoever. Here's an example of an icon I made, which is a photo edit/enhancement for the purpose of making it an icon:

This one icon result took me around 20 minutes of editing, so it is a lot of work, almost as much time as someone would put into a drawing.

It IS a form of art whether you'd like it to be or not. It falls under digital gfx.

A better move would be to have sections for Traditional Art (anything drawn by hand) and a section for GFX Art (Sigs/Banners, Avatars, Icons, Posters, ec.) since you can't knock anyone from posting their art, no matter if you think it looks good or not, as that's just bad forum practice.

As for the newest ihaveatar here, I agree the text is a bit hard to read on it. There are some avatars where text is impossible to read, but on purpose, but because of the positioning/focal point of this text it feels like we're supposed to read it but can't, so I'd work on that part a little.
