Attention, everyone! News alert!

Upon closer inspection, my old Series 1 Whirlwind had a very noticeable plastic burr protruding from her left cheek. Before you all jump to wacky conclusions, yes, I did in fact take her to the dermatologist to get it checked out. Her results came back negative for herpes, cancer, cold sores, and the like. The doctor pulled me aside and explained that in all of his years of medical practice (for dragon/unicorn hybrids), he has never seen something so unusual; he even ventured to say that my Whirlwind may be one-of-a-kind! Whirlwind was then diagnosed with a severe case of rarity syndrome.

"Gosh golly, doc! What on earth do recommend for treatment?!" I exclaimed frantically, deeply worried for my fallen comrade. A dark, sinister smile crept across his face. He pulled out his pipe and started blowing smoke rings; you know, the trademark pipe-smoking antics that all antagonistic characters who try to persuade heroes down the wrong path do. "Son, I have just the cure for her!" He boomed in a villainous voice. He scribbled in his pad, prescribing something for Whirlwind. He handed me the slip. I squinted, having a very difficult time translating the mess of jumbled cursive and pharmaceutical shorthand. I read it aloud to clarify: "List on eBay for no less than...uh...ONE(insert ambiguous scribbles representing an illegible number of zeros here)." I stopped reading and rose my brow, seriously confused. "Eh, doc... That's the number 1 followed by how many zeros?" I inquired. He smiled again and patted me on the back. "That's for you to decide. It's a bleak prognosis. She'll only have a couple of days at Bay." He then winked at me and left the room. That's when I knew what I'd do with Whirlwind.

Ironically, the only thing contagious in that office was the specialist's evil, greed, and alluring sensibility (LOL!). Whirlwind shook in fear, praying that her Portal Master (that's me) would grit through these bad times by her side with loving support, rather than succumbing to the ever-growing temptation of profitable betrayal. It was a dark day in Skylands. A very dark day indeed.

Well, guys, needless to say, it looks like I'm a made man now! I returned my Portal of Power to Eon, forfeiting my duties as a Portal Master. I found a much more rewarding career as an eBay scalper. My defective Whirlwind was merely a gateway drug into an evil far greater than anything that fool Kaos could ever fathom. I became that department store bully; that fat troll who'd wait out in a parking lot all through the frigid night just to have the first (and only) shot at the new waves of characters. With my out hand erect, I'd shovel Skylanders figurines from the shelves into my nine or ten carts. My lust for profiting from rare Skylanders was so insatiable that I needed to find an alternative energy source to fuel my ambitions; the tears of innocent boys and girls would suffice nicely. They'd wake Christmas morning, only to tear open gift after gift of worthless Series 1 Craplanders. I reek of pure evil! Who new that a silly children's game would turn me into a filthy rich uncle-ducker?

I'm not crazy or evil or weird! I swears! =)

I feel for people who are annoyed by bronies or whatever. I get it. we can ruin things sometimes. But accusing someone of being ignorant, and then saying "must be a brony," i just don't think its fair to make that kind of connection.

Agreed. Its very unjustified to make such a connection. Especially for those who've yet to ever watch the show. I use to be annoyed by "Bronies" then I watched the show...and now I'm one of them. LOL.

Bronies/pegasisters ruin nothing: it's just a fanbase where people who don't like the fanbase insult it because they don't like it. Calling us ignorant would be like people calling Spyro fans ignorant because you like the original Spyro and not Skylanders, or you like TLOS and not the original. Or, the "worst case scenario" you like all 3 and have actual respect for opinions? Noooooooooo!
