You have a video game that appeals to a wide audience of kids with an expansive cast of characters that pretty much behave like they jumped out of a tv show. Also, the villain is Invader Zim, an awesome character from an awesome show. >.>

...Because they canceled the TLoS movie to make Skylanders. They didn't think "we can't afford to make a movie, so we won't" they thought "we won't make this movie, because it doesn't fit our plans for the franchise".

Please oh please let this really happen *___* I would kill to have a Skylanders movie if it had Soak/Glumshanks-san in it. AND they can make it a 3D movie (you know witht he glasses) plz, and I would go see it (HUGE GLUMSHANKS-SAN ON BIG SCREEN, I'D HEART ATTAK FROM THE <3 )500 times plz. And a TV series too? You mean "We won't make this movie, because we'd rather chuck Spyro into a profitable new franchise rather than give fans who often got shafted anyway one final gift".

I would have a TLoS movie over Skylanders any day.

Think of the Sparx.

Yeah... he could change voices each act of the movie and play that up for laughs.

Skylanders is way more popular and they'd get more money this way.
I'd rather this than the movie anyway.....

Seriously,even by the time when LOS the Movie was being taled about and when we still had those small percentage of hope,I still didn't want this movie,at all.But,all bias aside,Skylanders could use a movie,or at least wouldn't lose with one.
Think about it.With so many changes being done in each of the LOS games,and we saw the poster for the movie.They'd probably make it an Eragon without humans considering how accurate it looked like,though the plot was okay, and it could've killed the series if since they had some people that worked on pretty bad adaptations,iirc.
Skylanders,on the other hand,has just enough openings to make a story completely against the canon,with all the OOC scenes it could ask for; but it still keeps the fun factor and the series is just beginning. Assuming that they're giving the games more and more complex plots,they probably still have the goal of a childish story for a movie,Hollywood and all,which isn't as harmful as an LOS or even a Classic movie would be.(And I won't even get started with the TV Show.The books showed just enough; they have enough to work with for a whole season if they get good writers.)

But I hope they won't make it 3D right away.Shoving this into some animated movies recently visibly takes a bit of the quality from it.(Owls of Ga'hoole and its abuse of slow motion scenes for 3D kinda make the whole thing forgettable despite pretty,for example)

Oh yes.

I remember a topic saying one of the workers of the classic spyro went to many people to get started on making a movie, sadly it didn't happen.

That's pretty hurtful for Skylander fans, especially who like all Spyros.

I would pay to see a Skylanders movie, if one is ever made. My little neice would love to see it too.

I'd see a Skylanders movie over a godawful looking LoS one, just saying.

This. Of course they'd go the way that brings in more money (a LOT more money).

I wouldn't; not for a Skylanders, or a LoS one.
Maybe for a Classic, not too sure. It would be strange for me to see actually.

I Really was expecting to see TLoS Movie but It didn't happend.

Anyway, if this is gonna happend I don't think I will see this movie or TV show in my country, just saying...
