No the wii portal will not work ( only the new iPhone portal will)

Sleepy don't cuss since there are kids (like you) on the site. And on an irish webite, where it was first found, it was said to come out the 20th.

I got the date of the 20th from activision's customer support (I asked them when I was reporting a glitch with lost islands).

I just tried out connecting the 3DS Portal to the USB converter to the iPad... No success even there... The 3DS Portal turns on automatically like with Universe, and all, but the game doesn't actually detect it. That's stupid! Acti should have foreseen this and gotten it coded in.
The console Portals all suck up too much power so the iPad doesn't accept them at all- don't even bother trying them.

So far the app has no portal support. Why should it? You don't transfer data to and from the figures, so there is no need for the portal. You just enter the web code to unlock the character.

They're releasing a Bluetooth Portal just for it, so why not add support for the older Portals? It feels just cheap. I actually hate the idea of the Bluetooth Portal because it wastes a ridiculous amount of battery connecting it. I would have used my old, USB'd 3DS Portal.

Check the bottom right corner of the web code screen. Portal ability but none connected since its not out yet.
