It was a toss up between Stone Hill and Dark Hollow, but I voted for Stone Hill. Looks like you may have lost by trying to go after Activision and Toys for Bob.

That is one of the most ridiculous things I have ever heard. I hadn't played the first 3 Spyro games untill a few months ago. I still wouldn't have now if it wasn't for Spyrobaro. This is due to the fact that I don't have a play station 1, 2 or 3. I have EVERY other Spyro game and merchandise and you are saying that I can't call myself a Spyro fan? **** off. Quote: Aura24
I think peetty much all TLoS fans have played classics too. It's the skyros... |

There's not much else to poll on for Skylanders, other than "Do you like Skylanders Giants?" or "Favorite path for __?" and I think the latter should be postponed until almost all/all of them are out.

My favorite is stone hill, you get plenty of freedom around it and it is fun to glide and run around. My second is dark hollow because it is fun being squished by the giant gnorcs with there giant piece of meat oh, that and the music!
It is also a shame that so many people have not even played the game that started it all!!! Without him, there would never be any spyro legend to remember!

...Oh my, it's kinda depressing to know that a LOT of people never even played the game that started all this. No reboot will ever overpass the original, that's for sure

Seeing this poll is urging me to start playing the game again. Spyro The Dragon was my first game for the playstation and I've been a huge fan since then. Also my favorite is Dark hollow, loved the music and the look of it. And also for those who haven't played the original three spyro games for the playstation you can get them so long as you have a playstation network account, they are just six bucks each to download the full game. I have all of them downloaded on my PSP.

Has to be Toasty. He's such a fun boss to fight!
Bear in mind that a lot of the people who are into Skylanders right now probably weren't old enough to play the original Spyro when it came out, or perhaps weren't even born then (it IS 14 years old now), or are just the parents of such kids. Naturally, less and less of the active forum population will therefore be familiar with it.

A very good point. Kids today are so use to advance technology, that most fail to realize how epic and worthwhile were those past games. They didn't need super graphics and shiny effects to be good

Even with the Tomb Raider franchise, I still think that the very first one for the PlayStation is the best. After all these years of Tomb Raider games, I'm probably apart of a small group who thinks that Tomb Raider I is the best one. |

Was a toss up for me between Stone hill and Sunny flight. I loved the music in the flight level but I liked all the passageways and that huge circular room where if you started ramming near the entrance you could hit all the chests in one dash.
Toasty was my least favorite level because of the sheperds and those dratted dogs. They still are tricky to avoid. even now.

Ah, I've waited a long time for a Spyro-related question...
Well, it has to be Toasty. I have fond childhood memories of that boss fight. And that Giant Dragon head. I have to say that it's a sad sight looking at the "Never Played Spyro the Dragon" section. Very sad indeed.

^You mean a classic-Spyro related question, no? I understand that Skylanders was created to introduce children of this age to the world of Spyro (although very differently from the classic.) Skylanders may be a great game for most, but I think that the classic Spyr games should be re-released so that both old and new gamers can have a wonderful experience
