Well I know that one of the start things is 100$ like they said. I saw that one too (also at WalMart), but I'm not up with the info on how many start versions there are. Maybe there's different ones. or maybe different stores sell them at muuuuch different prices.

No way starter pack is $100, unless it's for the Wii U which is probably just a blank number they've put on there.

There's only the full starter pack ($79.99) or the Portal Owners Pack ($59.99). One has Tree Rex, Cynder and Jet-Vac and the other has just Tree Rex. Anything outside of that is false, and you should confront them about the prices. (You can probably find it on walmart's website)

Arguably, the game does seem expensive, but take into effect other game's DLC. Yeah, the Skylanders info is all on the game already, but you're mostly paying for a physical figure which when not used for the game makes a really wonderful collection piece.

I agree. I was at a Wal-Mart today in Iowa and it was still 75 for the starter and 59 for the owners pack.

Hm, the one I saw was for a Wii system, I dunno about Wii U. But the price DID say it was 100 bucks. Saw the same online for 100, but other places had the same thing for 75 bucks. Fishiness is fishy. D:

But I found at least 3-4 more places with the same prices for this.

My Walmart has the same price on them. So they're not making it up or anything. There ARE some places genuinely selling these things for 99.99.......

I love Skylanders so. It's not me hating on them lol

i know right? Maybe someone whoever mentioned the wii U is more expensive (130$ is pretty steep).....But these places online are still even selling the 360 version for 99.99 and upwards. CRAZINESS.

Well regardless of what people want to randomly believe despite proof, it's still 99.99$ at my WalMart. And screw whoever thinks otherwise just because. lol (I'm in Arkansas, US by the way for anybody else who's getting the same price)

I just checked Wal-marts web site and they still have it for 74.99 for the starter pack.

The Wii U version will probably be more expensive because Nintendo are selling the systems at a loss and plan to make up for it with software sales.
But anyway... The game is $50-80 here everywhere!

I want a link to an actual retailer website such as Walmart. And what are those sites you screen capped? If it is not an official retailer site, then it doesn't prove anything as any online marketplace can charge what they want.

Much agreed. I mean I am a "Classic Spyro" fan too, and didnt intend on enjoying it either. I went in thinking and expecting to hate it. But turns out its now one of the best things I've ever played lol.

People need to stop being so closeminded.

I'm a classic/legend fan and I thought the first game was extremely mediocre(on the console... Loved Universe and the old 3DS version).
So I neither loved nor hated it.

i think this is a perfect example of a "closet skylanders fan"... just give him time and he will come out...

In germany the starter pack for the ps3 can be purchased for 60-75 €. It is up to the store. But it is a little frustrating here. We are still stuck at wave one.
