Definitely Glimmer.
There are some more tracks that I think are nearly as good. EPICNESS: Do you think Stewart Copeland has got some taste in music? I think he's rather clever. |

That's not the Kaos battle. The Kaos battle was a dubstep version of Kaos' theme mixed with the Giants theme. Apparently Lorne Balfe is fond of dubstep now... >.>

I'd like to see Boris Salchow tackle a Spyro score, mainly because his work with Insomniac has been brilliant.
Also, I'm pretty sure using Steward Copeland was Universal's idea. It would make sense, seeing as Insomniac had David Bergeaud score Disruptor, and then brought him back for Ratchet & Clank. >.>

I quite liked the background music during the dream sequences in TEN...especially the bit where it faded into the ominous menu screen music (Dragon Temple)...and also that simple tune that plays when you get to the burned lands in DOTD (Burned Lands).

Ripto's theme from Attack of the Rhynocs/Adventure was pretty catchy.
I also like Cynder's battle theme from A New beginning, Kaos' theme from Giants, and The Swamp from A New Beginning. |

This definately! Lofty Castle is amazing with its amtospheric piano melody and annoyingly catchy bass line. Great runner-up is Cloudy Domain's theme with its bombastic orchestral arrangements and great melodies. And the best part is that both themes (Lofty Castle and Cloudy Domain) are placed just in the perfect levels.

Gnasty's Loot had my favorite music from the original game. Then I'd say Idol Springs in Gateway to Glimmer. The ambiance coupled with the excellent use of the percussion just made the song amazing for me. And then Copeland replicated that style in a way for Fireworks Factory, by far the best track in Year of the Dragon. I also thought Red's Lab from A Hero's Tail was pretty catch, especially the synth part at the end.
When I first discovered video game music online the early Spyro games were the tracks I listened to the most. Then I found the Ratchet & Clank games... and then A Crack in Time came out and blew everything out of the water. But I still like listening to some of the old Spyro music. ^.^

Gotta put a vouch for Buzz's Dungeon and Sunken Ruins. They're much more melancholic than what I'd usually pick, but that's part of what makes them so great.
Also Toasty's theme is great. And I think the Valley of Avalar was nice as well if I remember rightly.
