I am not sure I will still collect the rest of the giants... my 5 year old son has already beaten the game! I am a little disappointed that the game didn't last even a week. Will have to see if he will still play it.

Sadly the one of the negatives of ativision is they always fart out. A product every year. I predict that skylanders 3 will be the last since this is starting to get on people nerves. Though I will say i do give toys for bob credit to at lease got what they did in a years notice

Also wave 2 would come out maybe nov. 4 with the new legendary, just have to wait and see

Man I can't seem to win an auction for the sidekicks on Ebay for the life of me.

Hopefully my friend in the states has better luck getting me the Giant's sidekicks, by the time I thought to ask him for the first set it was too late for him to find any of the chip backs.

Knowing my luck I'll finally win them off Ebay for over $100 and they'll end up being released in Canada.

There's always things to do like...
beat it on harder difficulties, get all the achivements, power-up all available Skylanders to MAX, do those Skylander-specific challenges, find all secret items, get 3 stars in each level, add the adventure pack levels to the game, etc.

^ I didnt like giants as much to beat it again and again. I'll happily play through spyros adventures a few times. But this one I'm not nearly as fond of.

I'm glad I'm taking my time with Giants then. :-)

Hello fellow canadian skylanders corny i know neways just wondering if Nov 2 was still the release date for legendary stealth elf aswell as the wave 2 figs? this is what a TRU employee told me a few days ago but they r often wrong LOL Has ne1 else heard nething?

it was in a tru flyer that legendary stealth elf is coming that day but were also guessing wave 2 hopefully wave 2 does show up with L stealth elf

Hopefully this weeks flyer has some useful information about that, I'd hate to go to the store in the morning only for it to be JUST Legendary Stealth Elf after all.

I work at TRU, I guess their staff are stupid for not knowing street dates. It clearly said Nov. 2 in the flyer. I wonder if my store has them yet, but I only work once a week there.

Picked up Legendary Stealth Elf... TRU employee told him he should be getting wave 2 next week or anytime from now until then. Yep no clear date given... but soon.

Legendary Stealth Elf found at Boisbriand Toys r us. It was available since tuesday october 30th 2012. No news about Wave 2 in Canada. By the way, free Skylanders Giants T-shirt when you buy more than 100$ value with Skylanders figurines & accessories.

Well, I'm in Montreal and still no sight of even Legendary Stealthy. Ugh, what a pain! I'm just about to move to the States, haha.

Seriously, though. A friend who's a GS/EB manager (and a huge Skylanders fan) told me that it's highly likely that it's a language thing again (bilingual packaging) that's delaying it all. Typical.

Also, wave 3 is supposedly set out for Dec. 13th here, according to a rep from Activision.

Legendary Stealth Elf is a TRU exclusive, so your EB will never have it.

It's also nothin to do with bilingual, since all Skylanders packaging is bilingual.

Found some Wave 2 at Walmart this evening in Whitby, ON.

Flashwing, Sprocket, reposed Hex, Gill, DoubleT, DrillS, Stump Smash...some others too I think. I can't remember. No HotHead, or none left anyway when I got there.

Yeah, I do know the L-Stealth Elf is TRU-only, like the Granite Crusher is for Target and stuff. Still haven't seen it at any the 3 TRUs nearest to me.

Is it? I thought it was only bilingual in Canada. That's usually how it is. Us in Canada always get certain games (NIS/Atlus especially) later than the US because of booklet issues. It's been a week or two's delay a few times.

Either way, still have to see any wave 2 here in Montreal, no matter the store. Considering how the last time we got shafted with Camo (only got a couple 100s in Quebec), I wouldn't be all too surprised if it repeats, sadly. History has a tendency to do that. Oh well, keep my fingers crossed and time will tell...

its kinda odd, they had all of the wave 2 singles but no hot head, in fact they did not have any giants at all weird...

Anyone know the EXACT date for wave 2? I'm hearing Nov. 9, 16, 26, and etc. LOL

The Walmart near me in Brampton has never stocked any giants or light core figures from wave 1. Only the new characters and series 2 characters. "We just didn't get any shipped to us" is what the guy behind the counter said when I asked about it.

Not the store near me at Bovaird / Hwy.10. I had to get them from EB Games in Bramalea City Center.

Well, it seems the distribution is pretty whacked out or something. So far, it seems mostly people in Ontario have seen wave 2. Nothing anywhere in Quebec yet, as far as I know. I'm in the Montreal area myself. Even places that normally break these silly street dates and language laws have had nothing yet, so safe to say no one has. Even the TRUs here have a basic stock and nothing overwhelming. Same exact stock since release.

He said at this point the store hasn't received the shipment yet, doesn't know when it'll arrive but they'll be on the shelves when they get the shipment.

Well, that might be cynical of me, but I think the guy might have been pulling numbers out of his butt, like everyone else. It's anybody's guess, at this point. I've heard everything from Nov. 5th, 9th, 13th, 20th... it's gotten old and silly.

Oh well, I'll keep a close eye, considering there's a TRU 10 minutes from my door.

I'll post here whenever I stumble upon something from wave 2.

I'm hearing more about Nov 16 now.... don't know if it's good information to trust...

So, after heading out to TRU today and getting to talk to the guy who runs the gaming center, he said he expects the wave 2 to come in Dec., a bit before Christmas. Until then, all we have that's new is the Legendary Stealth Elf. (which btw, all TRUs around here now have, so safe to say mostly everyone should have them by now, came out Friday)

That actually coincides with what a GS/EB manager friend of mine said. So I'm starting to think the date he got (Dec. 13th) is for Wave 2 and not Wave 3.

After heading over to EB and chatting with him, he says he sadly thinks that could be the case, that wave 2 will come in in mid-December. He says he's seen and heard about a few stores which got some wave 2 stuff but it's all from places which are close to the US border, which is typical since they seem to get stuff before everyone, gaming-wise.

So that's the word I have for now. I'm frustrated as hell and I'd like to believe it's not true but after doing a 6-hour run of all stores across town that carry the figs since last night, I'm forced to resign. I'll keep and eye out still but I'm not holding my breath anymore.

My dad managed to find Hothead at the Hamilton Walmart on Rymal & HWY 20 this morning. He went to other places but wasn't able to find any other figures from wave 2.

It's weird how retailers are either getting Giants shipments with Hothead inside or single packs of wave 2, but not both sets of figures in a signle shipment. This is starting to get annoying that you can't go to one store to find everything from a wave like you could on the release day; except with wave 1

nothing at my local stores i might need to make another trip to walmart..

I keep checking, nothing new. December, here we come!
