Nice. Are there unlock-able ones?

You can unlock the maps from cannons, (Frost Fight, Docks of Doom and for the gold one Super Wheel o' Power) and you can unlock the ones from Adventure Packs.

wasn't there a survival/hord mode like you against everything the cpu can throw at you... and you try to survive the longest you can?.

not like the player vs player battle mode....

Arena mode: My life is now complete.

not before it become an online game play mode in skylanders3... then it is complete.

It's already real fun! But Activision assumes most of their audience are kids, and most kids don't have Xbox live, Playstation Network, or Wii.

You also buy arenas in storymode. You talk to Auric hidden away somewhere in every level and sometimes he might have an arena for you to buy. I think the ones you purchase are the old arenas from Spyro's Adventure.

When you finish Chapter3

i was looking all over the game for this option so i could test the figurines before i started the story... why the hell couldn't they included this in the battle area.. its beyond me...

Without giving too much away some of the awards help with completing the story and aren't stored against the character - hence, at story level.

4 from SSA-purchased ingame
1 from each AP-use respective adventure pack

Edit: By the way, as far as I can tell from reading about it in the strategy guide, the arena challenge is less like a survival mode and more like the arena minigames in this game called Neopets: The Darkest Fairie, which is a really old game for the PS2, and it is the MOST like the Arena in the final area: Altador, which you have to do to beat the colloseum arena's game at least one time, but its AFTER that that it becomes a minigame. However, the you never get to do that round again. The reason its the closest to that is simply because there is 3 waves of enemies rather than 1. the difference between that and survival is that in an arena, the goal is to kill all the enemies in a wave, then move on to the next wave, the enemies do not keep spawning forever, and you are not necessarily scored, which is because you can actually WIN an arena, so a score isn't really necessary to tell how well you did, but as always, a score would guage your skill more accurately then just whether you won or lost, or your time, if there WAS one.

Dude, he obviously meant you could get the FOUR arenas from Spyro's Adventure by purchasing them in an in game shop, since you can infer that you don't need an adventure pack OR a battle pack because he listed them seperately, and he didn't mention figures, AND because someone else mentioned there BEING an ingame shop in this thread already. Its obvious enough just by reading it. Try to infer next time.
