So, when the next game comes out, will there be new Giants or just S3 Giants? Won't new Giants cross into the story?

There will probbly either be

New Giants or New element(s)

Skylanders of the Space element are stronger in this zone.

But I don't want new elements... just new people.

i dont think there would be more giants

1.The current giants have been skylanders for thousands of years
2.If eon found eight more skylanders i doubt they's all be giants.

i like the idea of a new element that either is strong and weak to everything or nothing.

dual-element skylanders would be cool
water-tech
fire-magic
air-undead
earth-life
those are based off of the opposite elements on the circle.

i hope there are no new giants, but if there are, no reposes please. There's not enough good reasons to rerelease characters, and I don't want a reason to rebuy them.

I dont believe there will be new giants but I think there will be new regulars and Series 2 Giants, other new ones, and the original non-reposed 8 making a total of around 32 (Again)

I hope they make series 3 Giants so they are easier to find and have better poses.

For existing elements:

• 1 new Giant per element
  
• 1 Series 3 Skylanders per element (8 in total, 4 'new' Skylanders from Giants and 4 of the S1 characters that didn't get reposes for Giants)
  
• 2 Series 2 Skylander per element (New Skylanders and S1 character that didn't get S2 in Giants)
  
• 1 LightCore Skylander per element (4 new and 4 S2)
  

And for new elements - of which I believe there will be 4:

• 1 Giant
  
• 3 Normal Skylanders
  
• 1 Lightcore Skylander
  

That would be a total of, not including variants; 65.

I find it unlikely that they will implement any additional elements.

I find it likely that there will both be new giants as well as new regular sized skylanders.

I believe that it is likely for a new type of skylander to be implemented that might be posable or have additional lights or some other gimmick(sound perhaps?) to encourage us as fans to especially want them(as if we won't get them already but hey new stuff is cool)

They should include the element Light, Space and Time (not darkness cos its already undead)

It is illogical for them to release new Giants,the Giants are 10,000 years old,and according to the game there were only eight,also that cancels out any chance of a new element,I expect them to bring in the Elder Elementals,if the Giants aren't them

A new Giant for each Element
That's enough- they just need to make the main game more lengthy and all and also give more incentive to do side quests like Heroics. Personally I think it's fine but people tend to be putting it down right after beating Kaos. If they did it right they wouldn't even need Adventure Packs either.

i think we will see 24 more series 2. There will be series 2 versions of the 8 from the original game that didnt get a repose (Ghost roaster, Warnado, etc), the 8 new skylanders (jet-vac, pop-fizz, etc), and the 8 giants.
I also expect at least 2 new elements, each having 5 regualr skylanders, a giant, and a lightcore.
this makes 48 new skylanders figures.

Guys, having S3 skylanders for everyone who doesnt already have a S2 one is all well and good. HOWEVER, we just need one thing... drumroll please... dun dun DUNNN! S3 Dark Spyro! I mean, outside of the console games, he's considered his own Skylander in every single way, except having the same pose as regular Spyro S1. Different Art, different skillset in handhelds, different clubhouse/showoff/dance animations in Universe, different official catchphase ("Lights Out" instead of "All Fired Up", for those of you who are curious), and maybe... just maybe... S3 Dark Spyro will cut his final ties with Standard Spyro (except of course, having the same pose as S2 Spyro... maybe... I mean, its okay to take baby steps in the total separation between standard and Dark Spyro, right? I mean I would just settle for the following by having a different set of upgrades than regular Spyro. Worried about backwards compatibility? Fear not! S3 Dark Spyro would have all his upgrades and Upgrade Paths equate to one of Spyro's, so that he will be able to use the equivalent upgrade in Giants and Spyro's Adventures, while still maintaining the exclusive upgrades when playing in Exploding Penguins 3: Total Annihalation... oh wait... second sequel of the wrong trillogy (kudos to those who get the reference though) I meant to say Skylanders 3: The Final Countdown to Destruction (Okay, I'll admit it. I totally made that name up. Sounds cool though, right?) Anyways, it would be really cool, but as a reference, it would only be avaliable on the Portal Owner's Pack for handheld devices and/or Nintendo devices (Sony and Microsoft would get their own exclusive figures... I'm thinking Teen Cynder for PS whatever and Teen Spyro for Xbox? and LoS Hunter for PC, and maybe Nintendo handhelds would get S2 Dark Spyro, but Nintendo Consoles would get Dark Teen Spyro? hmm? (just to maximize the variety, which was COMPLETELY lacking in Giants, seriously, all the starter packs had at least the SAME 2 of the 3 characters in common, and the Portal Owner's Pack always had the SAME character, what happened to the completely different selection of characters for the handhelds? in other words, I want to take the variety that was lost in the transition between Spyro's Adventure and Giants, and take it a step further: Giving each console a Unique character but just as a special treat for returning and old players, so they will only be avaliable in the Portal Owner's Pack)

sorry but to everyone saying there wont be new giants and elements just skylanders this is activsion where talking about dont you think they would add more elements so theres more places you have to get to but you need other elements

I don't expect all-new Giants, maybe reposes but that's it for them. New regular characters are a definite, and a new element wouldn't surprise me either. Space, as suggested above, might work. There's nothing comparable really right now and a story could be woven in to say they arrived.
