Out of all of the current Skylanders, what one has the best and which one has the worst wow pow power?

Hex definitely has the best. Honorable mentions to Flameslinger, Gill Grunt, Drill Sergeant, and Ignitor. As for the worst, Whirlwind's is a little underwhelming, I can't see much application to Cynder's since you'll rarely fly, and Zook's was something that was sort of under your control in S:SA anyway if you were skilled enough as him.

EDIT: Oh, add Stump Smash to the "good" pile. His Wow Pow is psychotic, and works exceptionally with Nut Crafter. He spits 10 nuts in rapid succession, each does 30, and they cover a huge area. Stump Smash is GOOD now. Crazy, ne?

Best: Stump Smash, Zook, Cynder, Chop Chop, Bash, Eruptor, Gill Grunt, Double Trouble, Wrecking Ball or Trigger Happy, can't choose...
Worst: Lightning Rod, Stealth Elf or Ignitor, same here...

Ignitor's is actually really good. It gives you the field defense you were lacking, provides an extra layer of protection for empty armor, and even though it only does 10 damage per tick, it ticks like crazy. It sounds minor on paper, but in practice, it does a much larger chunk of Ignitor's already huge damage than it would seem to.

Hex's does 280 damage when you launch the Skull Servant at an enemy! That's more powerful than Bash's Gaia Hammer!

^ Yeah, Hex's is just on another level. It changed what I feel about the power structure in the game when I saw that skull servant shoot 11 of those AoE, 280-damage death orbs in a row. I think a lot of people haven't had the chance to try it yet, but when they do, expect a surge of popularity for Hex.

Tashiji, your posts continue to be the most accurate, informative, and fun to read :-)

I've been playing Hex over the past few days trying to figure out how to better use the Wow Pow since it only seems to fire in the direction the mask is currently facing. As powerful as it is, I've also come to realize that Hex may be the new "Voodood" in learning and difficulty curve; maximize her damage through all abilities and "Mask facing" isn't as simple as mashing Stealth Elf's attack button.

Are there any strategies or techniques you've learned from playing Hex and her new Wow Pow?

A couple.

First, barricade. Bone Crafter is made for this, and just keeping a bone wall between you and the opposition at all times will win most battles. If it's broken and you feel like you're in peril, stop charging the servant and re-deploy your bone wall. The skulls you were charging will go flying at that point, adding even more trouble to the already troublesome game of getting past that bone wall. At that point, start charging again. I'm pretty sure you're already doing this part, though.

Second, remember that you can charge a new skull orb shield while a skull servant is already active. This is the best available strategy, because the spinning skulls add another layer of protection, and the fact that the ability is charging another new skull servant while defending you allows instant re-deployment after your first servant times out.

Sometimes the rotation will work in your favor, sometimes it won't. Just defend yourself as best you can, don't worry about your other attacks unless your opponent is running away from you (which will happen), and the servant will take care of the rest. You're still interruptable, which is good, because if there were no way to stop this, Hex would have her own tier. But the more precautions you add, the less likely any of that is to happen.

Thanks, Tashiji! That's exactly what I was looking for ... just need to get the rhythm down a bit more :-)

***Slight, but really not really, Spoiler***

And for anyone who truly wants to see just how much Damage Hex can produce, take your best, most upgraded, overpowered non-Hex Skylander S1 or S2 to a certain singing boss in Chapter 11; simply Observing/Recording/Posting-if-you-want how long it takes to pass each of the three stages of the battle.

Personally, I used a level 14, 41 Heroic Challenges Stealth Elf S1 once; a Level 13, 28 Heroic Challenges Ignitor S1 on a second run through; and a Level 12, 6 Heroic Challenges Hex S2 on the Third.

My Stealth Elf's nerf'd damage needed about 26 seconds on the first stage to complete and a little less on each of the other two.
Ignitor, much like in the ending Kaos fight in S:SA, excelled at this fight and took about 12 seconds on stage one and, again, a little less on the other two stages.

Hex completed each stage somewhere between 2 and 3 seconds for a grand total of less than 10 seconds of battling for all three stages combined ... it was that moment when my jaw dropped, and I had to redefine "Overpowered" in my head.

I found Stealth Elf's to be a little underwhelming. The spin is nice however, only thing it is going to really stop is a bunch of chompies that are trying to eat you.

Not sure^
Best: Terrafin: I was hoping for a bite, but this is better. Deals like 40-60 damage plus mini sharks. Definitely best on Brawler
Worst: Sonic Boom: Baby does a bit of damage, and Dissappears too quickly. Pretty bad
But thats just what I have

Also keep in mind that Sonic Boom's Wow Pow description in the game isn't exactly accurate. Although it stresses combining babies, Siren Griffon can create a superbaby from just one egg. Pretty nice.
