First of all didn't know exactly where to put this but....

Okay so yesterday I got myself the triple pack that has Flashwing in it (And S2 Gill Grunt and S2 Double Trouble). Was the ONLY one they had so naturally since she's one of the ones I've been the most excited about I had to get it no questions asked.
Was happy and excited to finally have her annnnnnnd this morning I watched good'ol "Asian Guy Gamer" and his newest video, (Where he gets Flashwing) and what did I realize?

My Flashwing has a horrid paint error....I had to make sure so I went and grabbed the figure and looked up pictures of other peoples' Flashy's and yup...it was confirmed...so now I'm on the hunt for a single pack (Since thats actually what I was originally after anyways) and get one with the correct paint scheme.

Heres photos of mine: (She's a bit ugly now that I'm realizing the error LOL):


Her feet are white (Just a VERY faint hint of purple can be seen but its barely noticeable) it makes her look plain to me. And when I first got her, I recall being in the car and looking her over, thinking that something seemed off about her. But I just let it go...now I'm understanding what it was I was wondering...no purple feets.

Anyone else's FW look like this? I personally think she looks nice with the purple legs...mine looks boring (not complaining of course, I'm glad to finally have her) just say'n.

I will be painting the gems on my Flashwing in a light, blue paint coating to have the gems glow differently....

I got today even though she's not supposed to be in Wave 1 (Lucky me). I also found other wave 2 figures like S2 and even stupid .

I have to say, she starts out extremely weak at first becaus her attacks barely do any damage, her spin only lasts for like 2 seconds, and her shards have a slow rate of fire.

That might be so, and I have yet to play, but the fact that the Reflection Deflection upgrade on her spin path shoots enemies attacks back at them... I wonder how broken it is. Going to find out soon, hopefully.

White claw Flashwing looks much better IMO.

Let me rephrase: She STARTS OUT extremely weak at first, not weak when fully upgraded or with lots of heroics done.

But is she 'overpowered' at full power?

I dunno because I didn't upgrade her at all yet or do any heroics. Just tested out her moves in PvP and 3 levels in story mode by myself and she starts out sooo bad at first; I also used her as a punching bag for & . She is one of those characters who are incredibly weak right out of the box and require patience; Eruptor, Prism Break, Hex, are examples of these guys. Her attacks are weak at first, has a slow rate of fire, her spin only lasts for 2 seconds, has very low armor (which is probably why she has 2 armor upgrades instead of 1), and is pretty slow moving. She's only good for clearing out groups of smaller & weaker enemies at first, she's useless for more powerful ones & bosses.

But judging by her future upgrades, some of them seem ridiculously overpowered (such as her Lightspeed Lasers & her Healing Crystals), while others seem totally lame (such as her Luminous Lasers & Surrounded by Shards). But anyhoo, I'll see how strong she is tomorrow.

Heh, yeah I kinda like the white feet. Too much bright color looks tacky. Can't believe Flashwing is still available online at TRU! Yayz I can haz!

I upgraded her a little more today and I have to say she IS overpowered with the light speed crystals & crystals in walls.

is an Ok Character, but there are far better.

I'm testing her spin path to see if it is OP too. (Probably just as likely-- extra armor and can't be injured during a spin? Sign me up.)
