Editor on Giants toys? [CLOSED]

Has anyone gotten the Skylanders Editor to work on any of the Giants stuff? I was goofing around with my extra Tree Rex and every time it would freeze up on me. So I tried Jet Vac - it gave an error. I then tried Slam Bam - it gave another, but different, error.

Activision ruined our hacking fun?

It worked on my for the giants characters, though it didn't quite max out the heroics. It only set 32 out of 42(?) heroics. It seems to work at a basic level though so it looks like the new skylanders format is mostly the same.

I have noticed that the 3DS Skylanders portal doesn't work for this anymore. I will have to dig out my old portal so that I can mess with this program.

Just search for Skylander editor V2.0 you have to open it in command prompt

I was able to use a 3DS portal just fine to edit Giants. (It was a 3DS portal from the first version of the game / Skylanders).
