Swarm

Barb Blades: Press Attack 1 to slash enemies.
Flight Of The Wasp: Press Attack 2 to hover in the air. While flying, press Attack 1 to shoot Barb Blades.
Upgrades
Sharpened Barbs: Barb Blades melee attacks do increased damage.
Wingin' It: Can fly faster and for longer durations.
Swarm Form: Press Attack 3 to turn into a swarm of bugs which damage everything they touch.
Stinger Shot: Hold Attack 1 to charge up and release to shoot a stinging energy blast.
Barberous Avenger: Further develop Swarm's Barb Blade attacks.
Razor Wings: Wings damage enemies they touch.
Better Barb Blast: Barb Blades shot while flying do increased damage.
Ultimate Barbs: All Barb Blade attacks do maximum damage.
Wasp Stormer: Further develop Swarm's Swarm Form attacks.
Swarm Storm: Swarm Form is bigger and does increased damage.

Eye-Brawl

Haymaker: Press the Attack 1 button to throw some heavy punches. Press Attack 1, Attack 1 and then HOLD Attack 1 for a special combo.
Eye Fly: Press the Attack 2 button to detach the eyeball and fly around. While flying, press Attack 1 to shoot eye lasers.
Upgrades
An Eye In Team: Press Attack 3 to summon more eyeballs from the earth to attack enemies.
Awesome Occu-Blast: Eye laser has a faster rate of fire.
The Pummeler: Punch attacks do increased damage.
Headless, Not Helpless: While flying the eyeball, his headless body will punch continuously.
Eye Brawler: Further develop Eye-Brawl's melee combat skills.
Eye-Brawl Combos: Press Attack 1, Attack 1 and then HOLD Attack 2 for Eye Ball Spin.
Press Attack 1, Attack 1 and then HOLD Attack 3 for 360 Spin.
Ultimate Pummeler: Melee attacks do additional damage.
Beats An Eye Patch: New armor provides additional protection.
Eye For An Eye: Further develop Flying Eyeball abilities.
Asserting Independence: Eyeball can now fly faster and for a longer duration.
Eye-Crawler: When enemies are hit with eye lasers, eyes form around the point of impact.
Bouncy Bouncy!: While flying the eyeball, press Attack 3 to bounce the eye on the ground.
Soul Gem Ability
You'll Shoot Your Eye Out!: Hold Attack 1 to charge up Eye-Brawl's eye, release to pop it off the body, smashing directly ahead.

Crusher

Crusher's Crusher: Press Attack 1 to swing the big hammer, also named "Crusher". Press Attack 1, Attack 1 and then HOLD Attack 1 for a special combo.
Turn To Stone: Press Attack 2 to shoot eye beams that turn enemies to stone.
Upgrades
Ground Grinder: Hold Attack 1 to hit the ground so hard that it makes a crack in the ground that damages enemies.
Rockslide: Press Attack 3 to break apart into boulders running over anything in their path.
Super Crusher: Hammer does increased damage.
Cavelight Blast: While holding Attack 2, press Attack 1 to launch a pulse of energy that damages enemies.
Rock Grinder: Further develop Crusher's Hammer attacks.
Crusher Combos: Press Attack 1, Attack 1, HOLD attack 2 for Hammer Throw.
Press Attack 1, Attack 1, HOLD attack 2 for 360 Spin.
Hammer Daddy: Hammer takes the face of Crusher's father and does increased damage.
Triple Ground Grinder: Hold Attack 1 to hit the ground and make three cracks appear to damage enemies.
Rubble Master: Further develop Crusher's Rockslide attacks.
Controlled Rockslide: Control the direction of your Rockslide attacks.
Boulder Bombs: While in a Rockslide, press Attack 1 to detonate boulders.
Bedrock Armor: Special rock from deep within the earth provides increased armor.

Hot Head

Flamefire Burst: Press Attack 1 to shoot a burst of fire. Hold Attack 1 to keep flames going.
Oil Blobs: Press Attack 2 to shoot a blob of oil that can get lit on fire for serious damage.
Upgrades
Premium Grade: Oil Blobs and ignited Oil Blobs do increased damage.
Sizzle Shower: Press Attack 3 to summon a rain of fire from the sky.
Turn Up The Heat!: Flamefire Burst gets even hotter and does increased damage.
Extended Forecast: Sizzle Shower lasts longer and does increased damage.
The Burniator: Further develop Hot Head's cooking skills.
Eternal Flame: Can use Flamefire Burst continuously and does maximum damage.
Hot Oil Treatment: Oil Blobs and ignited Oil Blobs do maximum damage.
Fossil Fuel: Oil Blobs turn into fossilized monsters who attack enemies.
Oil Baron: Further develop Hot Head's Sizzle Showering skills.
Fire Storm: Sizzle Shower does maximum damage and covers a larger area.
Oil And Fire: During a Sizzle Shower, press Attack 2 to create an oily explosion, catching enemies on fire.
Hot With A Chance Of Meteors: Hold Attack 3 to summon a gigantic meteor from the sky.

Thumpback

Anchor Assault: Press the Attack 1 button to swing Thumpback's anchor at enemies. Press Attack 1, Attack 1, HOLD Attack 1 for a special combo!
Belly Flop: Press the Attack 2 button to dive into a belly flop, damaging enemies.

Surrealistic Spheres: Press Attack 3 to summon magical orbs and cast them towards the enemies.

Mushroom Ring: Press the Attack 2 button to spawn a ring of mushrooms that damage enemies.

Launch Paratroopers: Press Attack 3 to shoot mushroom paratroopers who drop down from the sky.
Super Shrooms: Mushroom Ring gets bigger.
Bigger Boomshrooms: Press and hold Attack 1 to charge up a giant exploding mushroom.
Bouncing Boomshrooms: Exploding mushrooms bounce on the ground and do increased damage.

Shimmering Spin: Hold Attack 2 to spin around and damage anything in Flashwing's path.

Surrounded By Shards: Press Attack 3 to fire Crystal Shards in all directions but forward.
Luminous Lasers: Hold Attack 1 to charge up a powerful laser shot.
Light Speed Shards: Shoot Crystal Shards much faster and deal extra damage.
Armored Aura: Condensed light increases your armor.
Super Shards: Further develop Flashwing's Crystal Shard attacks.
Shooting Shards: Crystal Shards stick in walls and shoot their own crystals when Attack 1 is pressed again.

Ice Lancer: Further develop Chill's Ice Javelin attacks.
Brrrr Blade: New ice javelin does increased damage.
Shatterspear: Javelins now split into sepearate ice spears when passing through an Ice Wall.

Pop Fizz

Potion Lob: Press Attack 1 to lob Pop Fizz's currently-equipped potion.
Beast Form: Press Attack 2 to drink potion and temporarily change into a beastly form.
Upgrades
New Concoctions: Press Attack 3 to switch to some new potions, which have different effects when thrown.
Puddle Of Pain: Press Attack 3 to cycle to a new potion that leaves a damaging puddle of acid when thrown.
Raging Beast: All attacks in Beast Form do additional damage.
Dexterous Delivery: Throw potions and grab new ones much faster.
Best Of The Beast!: Further develop Pop Fizz's Beast Form Attacks.
More Beast!: Beast Form meter drains more slowly and recharges faster.
Berserker Boost: In Beast Form, damaging enemies increases the Beast Form meter.
Mutant Beast: In Beast Form, press Attack 3 to perform a special attack based on which potion is active.
Mad Scientist: Further develop Pop Fizz's potion attacks.
Master Chemist: All potions do increased damage and have improved effects.
Mixologist: Mix the effects of different color potions for brand new effects.

Auto Turret V2: Turret Gun-o-Matic does increased damage and has more HP.
Bouncing Betty Mines: Press Attack 3 to toss mines that explode when enemies are near.
2 Times The Turrets: Can have two active turrets at once.
Tanks A Lot!: When climbing inside a turret, it transforms into a drivable assault tank.
Operator: Further develop Sprocket's Wrench and Mine attacks.

My recommendations for the best path of ALL the newlanders:

: Choose Best of the Beast! More time in Beast form, also it recharges faster, and depending on wich potion is active, press Attack 3 for brand new attacks!

: Choose Packeteer! You can be more time flying and recharges faster, MAXIMUM DAMAGE for the Suction Gun and also press Attack 3 to perform a new attack while flying!

: Choose Barrier Boost! Mushroom Ring leaves a damaging spore cloud, Mushroom Ring is the biggest it gets and also you can stay in the ground!

: Choose Ice Lancer! New ice javelin does increased damage, javelins split into more ice javelins when struck in an ice block, shoot 3 ice javelins at once!

: Choose Super Shards! Crystal Shards stick in walls and shoot their own crystals when Attack 1 is pressed again, up to three crystals stick in walls and shoot their own own crystals when Attack 1 is pressed again, crystals embedded in a wall heal Flashwing when she is close!

In case you want to see Pop-Fizz in action on the Berserker upgrade path, I made a video because I think he's that awesome. There's a lot to keep track of while playing as Pop-Fizz on the berserker path, and it makes him one of the more complex characters to play as. It's really a lot of fun. : )

And before you ask, no I will not "do a video of *insert character* on *insert upgrade path*" This was just for fun to show off how awesome Pop-Fizz is.

In my Skylanders: Giants Official Strategy Guide it says that Futurecannon! does 5 times the damage of an Autoblaster hit (So if you choose Megadozer path it would get improved and improved cause it will shoot faster and faster and it will never run out of power!)
