Catchphrase: Hail to the Whale!

Biography
Thumpback was once a crew member of The Phantom Tide, the most fearsome pirate ship in all of Skylands. But the actual pirating part about being a pirate didn't interest Thumpback so much as the benefits that came with traveling on a large ship. After all, his real passion was fishing. But when his chance came to finally ensnare the most elusive creature in the sky - the Leviathan Cloud Crab - he was pulled over board and carried off into the horizon. This was actually quite fortunate, because sometime later The Phantom Tide and its entire crew were banished to the Chest of Exile. Thumpback’s pirating days were over, but his legend as one of the first Skylanders had only just begun.

Attacks:

Basic Abilities:

Primary Ability:
Anchor Assault: Press the Attack 1 button to swing Thumpback's anchor at enemies. Press Attack 1, Attack 1, Hold Attack 1 for a special combo!
Secondary Ability:
Belly Flop: Press Attack 2 to dive into a belly flop, damaging enemies.
Soul Gem:
Blowhard: While belly sliding, press the Attack 1 button to spray water and starfish. (Found in Glacier Gulley) Price: 4000

Basic Upgrades:

A Whale Of A Chomp: Press Attack 3 for a big, whale-sized chomp. Price: 400
The Whalest Chomp: Bigger, most powerful Whale Chomp attack. Price: 700
Now There's An Anchor!:Increases Anchor Assault's damage. Price: 900
Slippery Belly: Slide longer after a belly flop and do increased damage. Price: 1200

Anchor's A-Yay!! Path:
Provides more upgrades for the Anchor attacks.

Thumpback Combos: Press Attack 1, Attack 1, and Hold attack 2 for Power Swing.
Press Attack 1, Attack 1, and Hold Attack 3 for Whirlpool Ripper. Price: 1700
Bermuda Triangle: Increases the power of the Whirlpool Ripper combo attack. Price: 2200
Ultimate Anchor: Best anchor you can find! Does maximum damage. Price: 3000

Up Close And Personal:
Provides more upgrades for the Belly Flop and Chomp attacks.

Breakfast in Bed: While Belly sliding, press Attack 3 to chomp enemies. Price: 1700
Armor Of The Sea: Seashells make for better armor. Price: 2200
Bash Sushi: Hold the Attack 3 button to release a stream of projectile water vomit, damaging enemies. Price: 3000

Even though Thumpback is not my favorite Giant, but I do have to give a lot of brownie points for his design. He looks AWESOME! And his attacks are hilarious! I think anybody will have a good time playing with Thumpback.

I'm commenting, but is second to in my opinion. Close call, though. I had a question: What parts on glow when you put him on the portal? Besides the eyes. All of the giants eyes glow (i think)

The barnacles on his hands glow and I don't think his eyes glow.

Crusher is my second favorite, but I think that Crusher is a really strong and awesome character.

Cool, he's my favorite too. I love his Anchor Assault, Chomp, and Belly flop (Well basically all of his attacks). His Anchor has great range, his Belly Flops deals damage and allows him to move faster, and his Chomp is really fast.

My favourite giants in order: Crusher,Thumpback, Trree rex, Bouncer, Hot Head, Eye Brawl, Swarm and Ninjini. ana then waffles with syrup

What wave do you think Thumpback will be in and who's excited for him? Are you going to fight the final boss with him or will you redo the level with him if you have already beated the game?

Wave 2 he might come out, i will not redo the final boss with him and i can also say some wave 2 figures.

Wave 2 was released for TRU before other stores but had no Thumpback.

Hot Head is your second favorite? His lighting is terrible, his Flamefire Burn can be very weak (14 damage at level 1) if you don't take The Burniator Path, the only way to do good damage is to ignite his oil blobs. And his voice is just weird.

No, Sucking people into whirlpools, slamming your anchor on them and belly flopping=extremely awesome character!

Was Kameo popular? My friends got it before Skylanders and I thought it was okay, but then Skylanders came out.

Yes I've seen the Crusher Discussion Thread, Thumpling and the other sidekicks are probably going to be a Frito-Lays Promotion again. This time they should at least make them do something (attacking for 1 or 2 damage) and not just stand around.
