Pretty neat though...didja hack them? If so, I wonder what this could mean for games. Figures maybe being reverse compatable?

We *did* see some figs with yellow bases, including 2 of the other Sidekicks. Wave 2 newer figs could indicate some sort of sequel is relatively close, and the sidekicks are maybe part of that.

Where are you people seeing S2? The first one's clearly Gnarly Rex and the other one is ScarletJini

Weird, the last two have magic item icons instead of the sidekick paw? Or is that a side effect from the hacks?

He changed the picture, it was written ''Series 2 Tree Rex'' instead of ''Gnarly Tree Rex'' thats why people are confused.

where are these being released?

The yellow bases were just an idea they had, they decided to use the orange instead in the end. And; the sidekicks are just going to more than likely be a frito-lay thing again, for giants.

Source on that? I know the Giantkicks are from Frito-Lay but since they'll probably be out middle of next year, it's probably a good indicator of them already on their way being done with a Skylanders 3.

However, in the pic we saw with them, there's also an S1 version of Double Trouble with the yellow base, and a Boomer with a yellow base, but looking more like his in game (3DS version) model.

Why exactly would these sidekick screenshots make you think they are done with skylanders 3 nearly? These were from a hacked game, like the first sidekick videos and screens were. Someone hacking a game does not show any indication of a future games completion progress.

Well the original picture used to say Series 2, the graphics look like they are from universe, they say "Special" on the sidekicks, and 3 of them have the magic item sign.

That's why it's called "hacks". Someone hacked the game in order to use them without owning the actual sidekick figure.

Sorry for posting twice, still getting used to how the posting works on this site. :< This'll be the only time I do this probably. Those yellow bases were probably just bases they planned on using in the past like I said. I could be wrong on that, but if I am, then it's probably just bases for employee figs. Or, they are bases for skylanders they are testing with.
