I installed the Portal Driver... Works fine, worked fine first time. HOWEVER, the problem is, I need to open and reinstall it every time I want to use the Portal, after turning off and on my computer. I know this isn't normal/intended, because this isn't how it was in the original state of the website, so is there any fix? I did save a shortcut to my desktop, and it does take up 0MB to reinstall but it's getting annoying to do it again when I just want to play a quick session.

Hey Nibelilt,

Can you confirm which OS (operating system) you are installing the portal to, which portal you have (Skylanders Spyro's Adventure or Skylander's Giants) and which platform the console is for (3DS, Wii, PS3, Xbox 360, or PC)?

Try deleting the driver and reinstalling by choosing the option to run as administrator. See if that corrects the problem.

But Windows 8 is worse than 360 Dashboard.

Run As...
Current User: Error loading initialization files.
Administrator: Do not have permission to access/run this file.
HP_Administrator: Do not know the password... So I couldn't use this. I did try a few basic combos but none of them worked.
APSN Certificate: Didn't even try because I know it would be useless, and I don't know the password if this has one anyway.

Uninstalled and deleted beforehand.

I have that problem with the wireless portal, but not the 3ds portal for some reason. Doesn't matter now since I've misplaced the wireless receiver. XP Might be that the wireless one is finicky.
