I, so far, have found both Rock variants, GITD Cynder, and two "large font" Lightcore "variants" (?).

I saw like twenty Granite Crushers yesterday...

Yesterday I've found a Stone Zook variant at a local TRU store and today I went to Best Buy and asked an employee if they had Skylanders Giants characters and if they had any Skylanders Giants variants and he brought out 1 box of the figures but there were no variants and I had to explain to him that I'm looking for a rare Stone variant of Whirlwind and he went to the back stock and moments later he came back with a triple pack containing Trigger Happy S2, Whirlwind S2 (Stone Variant) and Pop Fizz! I was so excited as I felt my heart thumping with great excitement. I gratefully thanked him as he brought it out to me and I walked towards the registers for the purchase of my Whirlwind variant which was in the triple pack. I was proud of my hunt for the day. I have both Giants variants of Zook and Whirlwind in my possession and have called it a day's hunt for the week.

Just GITD Cynder and Granite Crusher. Checking Best Buy and Kmart dometime this week.

Well I Nabbed the Granite Crusher, but thats it as far as the "Giants Variants". I do though have a GITD Zap from S:SA, and a few others. (in-store exclusive variants). The GITD Zap is the only S:SA Variant I have though thats from the Rare figs.

So for Giants: Granite Crusher. I found one left at Target today and nabbed it.

What is a large font variant? Just the font size?

Yes, some LightCores were misproduced with their name in a larger font, and they are missing their catchphrases.

Hey, my LCPB has large font. I actually find know which was rare.

I found a Rock Zook in a 3-pack at a Walmart in St. Augustine! I was sooooooooo happy!!!!

I found a Rock Zook in a 3-pack at Best Buy in Brampton ON Canada on opening day here (Oct. 21st) at the end of the day. Don't know how it survived for so long on the shelf but I nabbed it!

I want to find a stone variant so badly only one i have so far for giants is my GITD cynder

Yesterday I found a Stone Whirlwind at a local Best Buy so my Stone variant collection is complete

I didn't know the large font was an error either. Almost all the litecores at my Walmart had that. I thought the Drobot with his saying was the odd man out. I think I bought a Large Font Prism Break. I really want Drobot, but his lite up part is so lame I decided against it.

Is there any confirmation that the LC characters with no catchphrases are the misprint? Every one of them at my work are like this and I have yet to see a single LC at any other stores that have a smaller font.

Huh....my LC- Prism Break is packaged like that....nifty

I NEED some clarification on the LC variations... Gonna create a topic specific to this.

The one without the sayings are 99.99999999999999999% likely to be the variants.

What are the best ways to find one? Oh and I only go to Tesco and only like 1 a week cause we only go shopping for food
