I don't want to sound creepy, but I don't think they're scary. In fact, i think they're cool. I always wanted a puppet skylander, but after seeing them, I think we should get a Wilikin Skylander. I think that would be very awesome.

Hm, they didn't freak me out, though I did get a 'wtf' vibe at first, especially with that Abandoned House with the creepy ghost-Wilikin following you silently.

...Actually, since I've been on all the levels, it's my second favorite level, right after Kaos' Kastle. Urk.

It's not even the Wilikin themselves that freak me out... Just their voices... It sounds sorta... Soulless, in a way...

That's the point of being soulless - they to me appear to be living dolls, and this level seriously gave me a huge Child's Play vibe just by their means of speaking.
Creepy as it is, I freakin' loved it xD Honestly, it's around this and the chapter before it that I felt the story just started to keep getting better and better smilie

The Wiliken world level was incredible, and I never have expected a game like Skylanders to deliver such an emotionally provoking experience.

I got a feeling personally while I played the level that is was meant to provide some subtle character development for Kaos, perhaps in terms of the sort of psyche he had in his childhood?
For me, the level had a sort of Psychonauts-esque feel. (Has anyone here played Psychonauts?)

It was interesting to hear that Kaos used to play with the Wilikin in his childhood.

But in The Machine of Doom novel, it said the Wilikin were created by Kaos to be his friends, besides Glumshanks, but they didn't like Kaos's bad smells and ugly looks, and went on to serve his royal familiy instead.

I honestly found the wilikin very creepy, and I have to redo it because I missed the legendary treasure and the achievement where you talk to all of the wilikins. The abandoned house with the ghost doll creeped me out the most. Somebody help me...

I gotta admit, I was pretty surprised that the game developers actually went in depth with some of the characters. It adds a lot to the skylander realm . . .

Did you see his portrait in his castle in Chapter 9? I thought he may have been born bald, but... seems as if he went too far to get himself an afro. No wonder why he got shunned so much xP

No, I think... This is spoilers for the ENDING...
I'm PRETTY SURE that's his father. At the end Kaos' mother comes up, so you can pretty much safely assume she's the angry girl on one of the other portraits who looks like Kaos in a wig, and then that the one in the Afro is his father. Though I wonder what that would make the troll in the picture, if that's indeed Glumshanks it makes me feel sorry he has to be the servant of such a whole awful family... I always felt sorry for Glumshanks. smilie

When you finish the game, please make sure you watch to the end of the credits - I don't want to give too much away but just do that for more viewing pleasure.
