I got the game (starter pack) , crusher(my tesco didn't have granite), bouncer, normal dragonfire cannon, fright rider and LC prism break. I wanted to get some more series 2 ones but they didn't have those either, also I forgot to get chill but will get her soon.

When does Spyro come out? His series 2 figure? And also does Cynder come in a single pack rather than starter cause if not i'm buying the starter pack and not Portal owner one.

Spyro is parts of wave two, which is rumoured to be late November in the US, so not sure about here.

Cynder is currently only available in the starter pack; same with Jet Vac and Punch Pop Fizz in the 3DS one.

Against the rules (Sorry Dark52) but: Anyone able to pick me up a Legendary 3-pack Spyro, Bash and Chop Chop? It's the only thing i need from S:SA?

At TRU in America the buy one get 40% off offer can get you two giants for £15 (with shipping of course). They ship to the UK - I'm not sure of the shipping costs though, but I think you'll find it cheaper than getting giants in the UK. Two regular size figures can be bought for about £10 (plus shipping) too.

Late November. For some reason Acti are choosing to release it early there. (It was meant to be a TRU event exclusive, but it seems some Target stores and others are just putting them out...)

Just spoken to The In Thing...they don't have details of Wave 2 yet but are expecting to hear from Activision this week so end October sounds a bit early.

Panic over, my Golden cannon arrived today :3 promptly re-selling ShroomBoom and Chop Chop on eBay, because there must be some people out there looking to buy them without the cannon.

There is a distinct possibility that I will be trading in my PS3 and some games for the S:G console with Gnarly later today. Stay tuned!

S'alright Marteh, I did it mostly for the console. G-Tree Rex was just a bonus. I've got a plan to put a 1TB hard drive in it. My PS3 is a little battered and it keeps having freezing issues. Just need to wait for Sony to release the HDD caddy for sale and I can upgrade this bad boy. Which is really nice by the way :3

Sadly they're not shipping Wave 2 atm, they're only available in store! Boo

Picked up the GitD Cynder Wii Starter Pack and the Punch Pop Fizz 3DS Starter Pack in Gamestation...then on the way tried GAME, 2x Toys R US, 1x Sainsburys, 2x Argos and 2x Tescos...

...and managed to get two Granite Crushers! \o/

Now, that GitD Fright Rider...well...christ knows. Nearest 10 stores to home and the other 10 near work don't have any. :-/

Just a heads up, and a massive apology to T7gga, but the figures are all 3 for 2 on the Tesco Direct website. It doesn't mention anywhere that they are but add any three of them and you get one free.

For instance you can get the two triple packs and the battle pack for £49 total. I already have everything from this wave, except the two stone variants, but this may help people out here. Especially parents looking to save a bit of money on these.

Sequoia: Legendary Chill's missing from your list. The painted-over variants (Stone, GITD) don't count as separate characters though, however GITD Sonic Boom seems to be rounding out that trinity too.

Is it just me or are the figures not selling as well this time? In every store I've been in that sells the figures, you can get every available Giants figure (including Lightcores and cannon packs) no problem, and they've been sat there for a couple of weeks now.

The giants are selling out fast, but in general everyone's looking at the new figures and wondering why they need another one. Everyone expected redos, that was a given. But over half the set being just that...yeah.

Then again wait till it gets closer to xmas.

In the EU/UK, it's the price.

£6.99 was a fair price point to convince people (parents/grandparents) to buy them every time they walked past them.

£8.99/£11.99/£14.99 actually crosses that line from 'its about a fiver' to 'oh hang on this is ten quid or more'...which means in general I expect Giants will sell a lot less than Series 1 (I work in the games industry).

To be honest it's a real screw up on Activisions part. $9 is fine in the states, and publishers always just change $ to £ for the UK, however £9 is actually like $15 and stretches out of the ideal price point (else they'd be $15 in the states too).

I expect we'll see more giants, on more shelves, for much longer than anything we saw with series 1. But hey, it's the Activision way: get it right once, drive the IP in to the ground with poor decisions made be executives who don't have the ability to get it right, and blame recession/consumer behaviour.

Asda Direct are taking online pre-orders for the Light Core triple pack for £25 delivered. Comes out in 7 days and they reckon it is exclusive to them (in the UK at least). I managed to get two of the individual Light Cores for £8.99 each mispriced and honoured in Sainsburys, so if I end up paying £10 for the remaining one this triple pack would still have been cheaper in hindsight. I hope this helps someone out - apologies if a duplicate post.
