Because it was borderline impossible for some of the fully upgraded figures. Why should one be forced to reset because their terrible at figuring out the proper difficulty?

Glad heroic challenges are gone. Imagine doing 165 per skylander. That's 27225 challenges. No thank you.

Good. I never could get that one completed on the original game.

Just a guess, but maybe because so many people complained about it being so hard the first time around?

It was impossible to do with certain upgraded Skylanders so I just reset them and did the purple Chompie challenge first. I had the same issue with Double Trouble's painting challenge. Mostly toons that had bouncy projectiles or did splash damage. It's not like it took more than 15 minutes to re-level a Skylander on the last stage.

All of the heroic challenges are extremely easy. They seem to be intended as simple ways to earn experience to quickly level up low-level characters.

What are all of you talking about? It was SUPER easy on SSA.

Pffffffffffffffchchchchcchchchch!
You want hard, go buy the Wii game, and play that version of Double Trouble's Heroic.
It, Fright Rider's and Swarm's are the only true challenges(and even Swarm's is only hard if you stuff up a lot).

It was doable with all skylanders, you just had to let the troublesome purple one latch onto you (and keep them on you the whole challenge, ever wonder why they dropped food often?).
But in Giants it seems like they don't latch onto you anymore.

HALLELUIAH! I can't tell you how many Skylanders I had to reset because of this challenge!
P.S. Sorry if this offended anyone.

Because you had to reset certain Skylanders to complete it, basically.

I never had to reset a character to do it. But even if it was necessary did Doing the 1st section of the kaos lair level a few times and you would be back to max in no time.

I must reset Cynder, because the Soul Gem Upgrade makes this challenge impossible. The ghost kills alle chompies which was on the screen.

This challenge was still a pain to do with Tree Rex, because he'd keep stepping on them if you had to turn around. Stupid Chompies.
