More stores should be getting the Skylanders element stickers in for their map thing.

Even if you don't want the map, you should get the stickers. They're neat for all sorts of things and would be perfect for someone who has some sort of display.

As of now, I've only seen 4; 2 in each place rather than the regular 6. (there's 2 you get on the map, but they're not like physical stickers)


Ones near the Skylanders display are Magic and Air. Over by the boys apparel there's Undead and Fire. (i believe they had the wrong ones over there though)

My Series 1 Skylanders aren't showing up in the Collection section. Is this happening to anyone else? Sorry if this has already been asked.

i thought he was, but when i got mine i noticed he had clear eyes, which looked rather unusual. just went to HMV, and the painted eyes version isnt as rare as this seller claims, they had loads of both, painted and clear. might buy a painted eyes version for cheap later as tree rex is going to become such a common figure.

Nowhere in that ad does it say it's TRU exclusive. Likewise, news sites have been breaking the news about two new Wii bundles coming out on 11/4, which this is one of those two. In those articles, it was stated to be a TRU exclusive. I'm sorry, and not to knock anyone here who may work at TRU, but most of the time, TRU employees don't know their head from their ***. Honestly, though, same goes for anyone working in gaming departments at places like Gamestop, Sears, Target, Best Buy, and Wal-Mart. It's just people who think they know everything about gaming.

Let's put it this way, and this should set an example. I gave TRU that item number from the catalog, and their systems show nothing about it, only a name and 0 on-hand. No stores - I mean NONE - got any memos mentioning these bundles. Every TRU I called knew nothing about it, until I gave them the item number. I can see why, though. News sites only broke word about it today and it's still a little under 2 weeks out.

I just think the particular employee you spoke with, was speaking out of the wrong mouth.

MyNintendoNews is reporting on an apparent press release for those bundles, so yeah. Gnarly Rex definitely isn't a TRU exclusive.

Also, it doesn't look like it's super limited edition or anything. It mentions them being "while supplies last" but I can't see that many people spending $149.99 for the Wii when Wii U is coming out by the end of November. (essentially, you'd be spending $74 for Gnarly Tree Rex; $149.99-$75.99)


Also, I don't know if the ad mentioned it, but we have a date here for the release of the bundles- November 4th which is 2 Sundays from now.

well I'm back for another question and:

Spyroflame0487:to add a cherry top on the cake, i can tell you that here in spain the bundles have already come for ps3 and wii, its awkward that it came to specific spanish stores that aren't in other countries, of these El Corte Ingles and Fnac

and my question is, is this early wave 2 everywere as in all stores like wallmart or best buy? and has it come to other countries like spain?

Gnarly is like most other variants.....if I can sell the other stuff that comes with it, the I'll buy the bundle, keep Gnarly and sell the other stuff.

That's how I got them the Punch Pop Fizz and Dark Spyro. If I can't sell the other stuff, I just explain to them it's just a figure that is too expensive to get.

Obviously, it's the rare ones they like...Gnarly Tree Rex, Royal Double Trouble, Punch Pop Fizz and Jade Flashwing.

Did anyone else here dubstep in the Chapter 11 and Chapter 16 bosses? I SWEAR it sounds like dubstep in the later parts. Doesn't surprise me too much considering the original game had rave music for the bosses but still... maybe I'm going crazy...

I know that Drill-X's stage is mostly dubstep. During that boss fight I just turn the sound effects all the way down so I can hear the music and his rapping. It's great

Also, if you haven't tried it already, take any Skylander and stand next to the jukebox on Flynn's ship, wait for a bit, and techno music for the hub theme will play, and the Skylander will then start rapping. Try it with 2 players, the most fun in the game

Well, the Drill-X boss music is meant to be dubstep because... Well... He is called Drill-X... Like... Skrillex. I think they just reused the Drill-X music in the final boss because... Well... They're lazy. Unless it's the same dubstep track in all the boss fights (I didn't notice it in any others).

I know what Punch Pop Fizz is, that was the only console image we had of anything that resembled him - everyone just assumed that the image I used was the beast mode for Punch Pop Fizz because it was red-ish.

Legendary Stealth Elf comes out November 2 here in Canada so maybe wave 2 comes out in Canada and every where else November 2 too

Honestly, I would expect wave 3 to turn up in stores right around the end of November with no notice. It will likely be mostly reissued wave 1 with a couple of new figures. We will likely have no idea who is in the waves until distribution starts. No one will be able to provide you anymore information than this. Unless we get another distributor website leak like we did for giants wave 1& 2 and SSA waves 3,4,5 its impossible to know. As soon as there is information my guess is it will be prominently posted information appearing in multiple threads like all other new information on this site.
