Hugo and Agent R ran into Kaos' Lair.
"This is the place?" Hugo asked.
"Yes." Agent R replied. "And it took us a hell of a long time to get here."
"Blame the writer for that one." Hugo said.
"You shouldn't say that." Agent R said.
"Why not?" Hugo asked.

Hugo vanished.

"That's why." Agent R replied.


Meta Knight flew over to Agent R.
"There you are, loser!" he cried.
"Meta Knight? How have you been buddy?" Agent R asked. "I haven't seen you since..."
"Shut up Agent R." Meta Knight said. "I know you sent a minion here to free Kirby."
"I did?" Agent R asked. "Man, I'm good."
"Wait, you... didn't?" Meta Knight asked. "Then who sent him?"

Cortex flew in. "My boss sent me, of course."
"Cortex!" Meta Knight cried. "What are you doing here?!?"
"I had to free Kirby." Cortex replied. "As if your boss uses his power, I cannot take over the world, as it would be his. You see the problem, right?"

Gill Grunt walked over to them. "Sorry, but I couldn't hold it in."
"Yes, anyway..." Amicus said. "I thought I told you to stop this."
"Does it matter?" Lucy replied. "I'd rather help my friends, than not help at all."
"Good point." Amicus said. "But I'm gonna have to kill you all."
"Shouldn't we prepare first?" Gill Grunt asked. "I'd like to at least watch the next few episodes of Family Guy, in case I die fighting."
"Fine." Amicus replied. "The fight starts in three hours. Meet me back here then."

Amicus and Gill Grunt walked off.


"That person seems... familiar." Danny said.
"That's because you knew his identity, before you lost your memory." Hermit replied.
"Where did you come from?" Alice asked.
"Sorry, I needed a drink of water." Hermit replied.
"Anyway, we need to prepare for the fight." Spyro said.

Gill Grunt was watching Family Guy.
Amicus was lifting weights.

"You sure this is smart?" Gill Grunt asked.
"What else can we do?" Amicus replied. "We need to stop them now."
"Seriously? What's the point?" Gill Grunt asked.
"If we take them down now, we'll have no problem getting the darkness to rise." Amicus replied.
"I mean seriously! Peter, you're just being stupid!" Gill Grunt complained. "Listen to Brian!"
Amicus sighed. "You were talking to the TV the whole time, weren't you?"
Gill Grunt paused the TV. "Did you say something?"
"Exactly my point." Amicus replied.

"So, what if we lose?" Gill Grunt asked.
"Agent G will try to kill me, along with them." Amicus replied. "That is, if he stops sending his fairy friend to do all of his work and actually leaves his cave base."
"Okay..." Gill Grunt replied.

"Those few hours really flew by." Amicus said.
"Yeah. It's strange..." Gill Grunt replied. "Anyway, let's find those guys."

Lucy, Danny, Stealth Elf, and Spyro approached them.
"We're ready!" Stealth Elf said.
"Let's fight then!" Amicus said.

Gill Grunt looked around. "Something here seems strange..."
He realised what it was. 'That girl and Stump Smash aren't here! Maybe they're planning something... I hope so. I REALLY don't like this job.'
'Gill, is that really why you're with that guy?' Spyro said in his mind.
'How can you hear my thoughts?!?' Gill Grunt thought.
'I'm Magic, you idiot.' Spyro replied.
'Oh.'

Amicus created a magical orb. He was about to throw it.
A mallet whacked him around the face.
It was Stump Smash's fist.
Amicus collapsed.

"Thank you." Gill Grunt said. "Can we unmask him now?"
"Good idea." Lucy said. "I'd like to know who this guy really is."

Lucy pulled off Amicus' mask.
His hair then grew longer, and turned blonde.
Lucy gasped. "It's... it's..."

CHAPTER 14: NEXT STOP - PARIS!

Lucy pulled off Amicus' mask.
His hair then grew longer, and turned blonde.
Lucy gasped. "It's... it's..."
A girl was lying in Amicus' place.
"Hannah!" Lucy exclaimed.

She woke up. "Where... Where am I? And what happened?"
She rubbed her head and stood up.
"So Amicus is really... a girl?" Gill Grunt asked. "If I was reading this entire adventure, I'd have thought this would be one epic plot-twist!"
"Why... Why did you use THAT as an example?" Spyro asked. "Why would ANYONE be reading about this adventure?"
"Why wouldn't they?" Gill Grunt replied.
Spyro thought. He stayed silent.

"Hannah, what was the last thing you remember?" Lucy asked.
"I was in my room playing Skylanders, when this man wearing a green cape crashed in through the window." Hannah replied. "He hit me with some kind of orb, and then, nothing."
"So, she's been like that for six months?" Alice asked.
"Seems so..." Lucy replied.
"Wait... I've been like this for six months?!?" Hannah exclaimed. "What was I doing?"
"You've been trying to kill them for starters." Gill Grunt replied.
"And now I'm imagining a talking fish." Hannah said. "Great."
"Who are you calling a fish?!?" Gill Grunt shouted. "I'm a Gillman!"

LATER

"So that's what's going on then." Hannah said. "And that does explain what Danny was talking about in the shops."
"What was I saying?" Danny asked.
"How could you have forgotten already?" Hannah asked.
"He's got amnesia." Lucy replied. "His memory was taken, and we need to get it back from this guy called 'Lux'."
"That's weird." Hannah replied.

Hermit looked at his watch. "I gotta go. I need to pick up my drinking buddy. He gets out of prison today."
"Wait. Where do we go next?" Alice asked.
"That other Portal Master is still with the other Skylanders." Hermit replied. "He's somewhere in Paris."
"Where?" Lucy asked.
"I dunno." Hermit replied. "Now I need to go.

He teleported away.

Umbra entered the lab. "What's going on here?"

L-Chop Chop and Pop Fizz were screaming. Pop Fizz was still red.

"What happened?" Umbra asked.
"I'M RED!" Pop Fizz screamed.
"I CAN'T COUNT TO TEN!" L-Chop Chop screamed.
"Just stay calm." Umbra said. "Drink this."
He handed Pop Fizz a potion.

Pop Fizz drank it. He turned blue again.
"Thanks!" Pop Fizz said. "Now we'll start working on... uh..."
"Nevermind." Umbra said. "I need your help."
"What is it?" L-Chop Chop asked.
"I need you to create me a potion." Umbra replied. "It must be..."
He whispered it into their ears.

"Oh, that's easy!" Pop Fizz said. "Come back here in a few hours."

A mushroom approached him. It was Shroomboom. "So anyway, could you get me a slingshot? I've been looking all over for one."
"Well I don't normally listen to food, but alright." Malefor replied. he walked off.

CHAPTER 16: ROCKET RETURNS!

The helicopter landed in Paris.
Alice, Lucy, Danny, Hannah, Stump Smash, Spyro, and Stealth Elf all got off.
"So, where do we go?" Hannah asked.
"Good question." Lucy replied.
"Maybe we should split up." Spyro suggested. "That way, we can cover more area and hopefully find more Skylanders."
"Good idea." Alice said. "What are the teams?"

Navi flew around. She was in Paris.
"Where do I go..." she wondered. "Double Trouble is in the museum, Spyro is with the Portal Masters, and Whirlwind is on the Eiffel Tower... I'll go after Whirlwind!"
She flew off.

Danny, Hannah, and Spyro arrived at the Eiffel Tower.
"Wow! I've always wanted to see the Eiffel Tower!" Hannah said.
"Why do they call it that anyway?" Spyro asked. "I understand the tower part, but why Eiffel?"
"I don't know." Hannah replied. "But it doesn't matter. Let's go to the top!"
"Good idea." Danny said. "And maybe we can find that Lux guy up there."
"I doubt it, but it's worth a shot." Spyro said.

Lucy and Stealth Elf were walking around the streets of Paris.
"This place is amazing!" Lucy said.
"Just remember the mission." Stealth Elf said.
"Good point." Lucy replied.

"Dang it!"

"Who's there?" Lucy asked.

"Sorry!"
"I can't hold it in any longer!"

Lucy and Stealth Elf were confused.
"Who's there?" Lucy asked.

"Who is the question, so Twerpish indeed."
"We'll answer that question as we feel the need!"

"Not again..." Stealth Elf said.

Jessie jumped out.
"Bringing the blinding white light of evil into the future!"

James jumped out.
"Thrusting the hammer of justice down onto the black darkness of the universe!"

Meowth jumped out.
"Carving our names in the Rock of Eternity!"

"The fiery destroyer, Jessie!"
"And with thunderous emotions, I am James!"
"Wisest of the wise, Meowth!"
"And now gather under the name of Team Rocket!" they all cheered.

"Why are you following us?" Lucy asked.
"We need to capture Stealth Elf." James said.
"Or we won't get paid." Jessie added.
"Bring it on." Stealth Elf said.

CHAPTER 17: WARPED!

Alice and Stump Smash arrived at a museum.
"Could this be the place?" Alice asked.
"Who knows." Stump Smash replied. "I can't be bothered to think."
"That doesn't make any sense." Alice said.
"Neither does... that thing." Stump Smash replied, pointing at a rock.
Alice sighed. "Let's just go in."

They walked inside the museum.

Right at the front was the statues of Steve, Chop Chop, Wrecking Ball, Zook, Bash, Boomer, Hex, Cynder, Double Trouble, Drobot, L-Spyro, L-Bash, and L-Trigger Happy.
"That was easy enough." Alice said.

She walked over to them.

They all started glowing. They all broke free.

"Thank you for releasing me!" Bash said.
He then started laughing.
"Sorry, but I've always wanted to say that!"

"What happened?" Steve asked.
"Dunno." Stump Smash replied. "We were sent here to rescue you guys."
"At least we're free now." Drobot said.


A bunch of Trolls and Drow ran over to them.
"Prepare to f..." one started.
He notice that everyone was free.
"Uh... We surrender?"

Stealth Elf collapsed from exhaustion.
Lucy stopped the timer. "Six hours and thirty seven minutes."
"Wow, it's seriously been that long?" James asked.
"Nevermind dat." Meowth replied. "Let's just take dat Skylander with us."
"And what about the girl?" James asked.
"Good question..." Jessie replied.

Lucy disappeared.

"Absolutely nothing." Meowth replied.
'Excellent timing.' Meowth thought. 'Looks like the magic was right on cue. Now to finish the job.'
"So, where next?" Meowth asked.
"Well, Ignitor should be in a castle somewhere, while Slam Bam is in the Trial of Ice." Jessie replied. "We should probably go after Ignitor first."
"Good idea." James said, putting Stealth Elf into a bag.

All of the Troll and Drow were lying on the floor, knocked out.
"That was easy." Bash said.
"Yeah, it was..." Zook started. "Uh... DANG! I can't think of any puns I can make!"
"Good." Boomer said. "You're puns suck."

"So, we've been like that for six months?" Steve asked.
"Apparently." Alice replied. "We'll now need to meet up with the others now."
"Sorry, no can do."

Navi flew in. 'This isn't the Eiffel Tower... Whatever, I needed to be here anyway.'
"Who are you?" Stump Smash asked.
"I cannot say." Navi replied. "But I can't let you guys meet up with your friends yet. The Skylanders need to come with me, while you two humans must go on separate journeys for a short while."
"Why?" Steve asked.
"I shouldn't say." Navi replied. "I shouldn't even be helping you."

Navi flew over to Alice and Steve and sprinkled some dust on them.
They vanished.

"Cool!" Double Trouble said. "Me next!"

Danny, Hannah, and Spyro were on top of the Eiffel Tower.
"This IS a great view!" Spyro said.
"Amazing!" Hannah said.
"Cool, I guess." Danny said.

They walked around.
They saw a statue of Whirlwind.

"This must be Whirlwind!" Hannah said. "So, I just approach it then?"
"Yeah." Spyro replied.

Hannah approached the statue. It started glowing.
Whirlwind broke free.
"Twists of Fury!" Whirlwind cried.

"Whoa! This is some cool power!" Hannah said.
"What's going on?" Whirlwind asked.
"Long story." Spyro replied. "And..."
Spyro facepalmed.
"What's wrong?" Danny asked.
"I think we left Gill back in Japan." Spyro replied.
"That is a problem." Danny replied.

Hannah looked up. "Hey, why did it just get dark all of a sudden?"
"It must be the darkness." Spyro replied. "It must be spreading!"
"Then we need to hurry!" Whirlwind replied.

A light emerged around Danny and Hannah.
"What the..." Hannah said. "What's all this?"
Danny and Hannah vanished.
“That’s weird” Spyro said

Ripto rushed to the control room.
Crush looked at him. "Hey boss! I can see your special stuff!"
"Nevermind about that now!" Ripto cried. "We must hurry and stop the meteor!"
"What meteor?" Crush asked.
"NEVERMIND! JUST FIRE THE LASER!" Ripto screamed.
"Alrighty boss!" Crush replied, pressing the big red button.

Umbra walked back into the lab. He was carrying Stealth Elf.
"Here it is!" Pop Fizz said, handing him a pink potion.
"And Team Rocket sent me Stealth Elf." Umbra replied. "So make Legendary Stealth Elf now."
"Alright." L-Chop Chop said. "But why do you need that potion?"
"It's a backup." Umbra replied. "My latest device has shown me that we won't keep Skylands much longer, so I need this for my own special plan."

Hugo was hiding in some clouds.
"Give. Me. Ppppppppppppppppppppppppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeennnnnnnnnnnnnnnsssssssssss." the voice cried.
"Who are you?" Hugo asked.

Ripto looked into the telescope.
He saw the laser hit a meteor.
"Good." he said. "Now it can't bother us anymore."
Crush walked over to him with a towel. "Here you go."
He handed him the towel.
"Thanks." Ripto replied, wrapping it around him. "Now I must go wash my hair."
He walked off.

Crush stared at him. "You have hair?"

CHAPTER 19: TRIAL OF DARKNESS!

Steve woke up. He was in a dark city somewhere.
"What the..." he said.

In front of him was a statue. It was the Darklight Crypt.
"This must be what I must do, I guess." he said.

He approached it.
The doors opened.

A hologram appeared. It was of the Grim Reaper.
"If you are listening to this, that means you are Portal Master Steve." it said. "Welcome to the Darklight Crypt! Also known as the Trial of Darkness. You must strengthen your skills in here to defeat the giant eyeball creature 'Occulous'. You must also find the two items of Magic to enhance your powers. Good luck! You'll need it..."
The hologram disappeared.

"Okay..." Steve said.
He walked in.

The Grim Reaper sat on his chair. "I wonder if that guy will actually pull it off..."
He drank some coffee.
"Let's hope so." he said. "But can he recover the Magic items in time..."

-------------------------

Steve walked around. He was surround by dead trees and abandoned(?) houses.
"Hello? Anyone here?" Steve asked.
"Are you... a Portal Master?"
"Yes." Steve replied. "Who are you?"
A ghost appeared. "My name is Ghostillicus. I have been sent to be your guide. We must first find the Time Twister."
"Where can we find it?" Steve asked.
"It's in with some pies." Ghostillicus replied. "But all of the pies have been locked away, along with one of the Skylanders!"
"Where can we find it?" Steve repeated.
"I dunno." Ghostillicus replied.
Steve facepalmed. "Let's just look around."

Steve and Ghostillicus entered a house.
"It's dark in here..." Steve said.
"Well they don't call it the 'Trial of Darkness' for no reason." Ghostillicus replied.
Steve sighed. "Whatever. What's that?"
He pointed to a locked safe.
"That must be where the pies are locked away!" Ghostillicus said. "Open it!"
Steve stared at him. "I don't have a key."
"Neither do I." Ghostillicus replied.

A key fell out of the sky.

"That was convenient." Steve said. "I wonder how it got here."
"Nevermind. pen the safe!" Ghostillicus replied.

Steve picked up the key and opened the safe.
A bunch of pies were in there. There was also an hourglass and a statue of Ghost Roaster.

Steve entered.
The statue glowed. Ghost Roaster broke free.
"No Chain, No Gain!" Ghost Roaster cried.

Steve picked up the hourglass. "This must be..."
"The Time Twister!" Ghost Roaster cried. "You must be the Portal Master if you can actually use it."
"Try it out!" Ghostillicus said.

Steve turned it upside down.
"Nothing's happening." he said.
"That's 'cause you have to press the button." Ghost Roaster replied.

Steve pressed a button on the top.
"Did it work?" he asked.
"I don't know..." Ghostillicus replied, in slow motion.
"Cool." Steve said.
"Stop talking so fast..." Ghost Roaster slowly said.
Steve pressed the button again.

Time returned to normal.
"That was awesome!" Steve said.
"So you really ARE a Portal Master!" Ghost Roaster said in amazement.
"Of course I am." Steve replied. "You wouldn't be free if I wasn't."
Ghost Roaster thought. "Good point."

Zook, Wrecking Ball, Drobot, Hex, Chop Chop, Boomer, and Cynder were in a hotel room.
"This is stupid." Boomer said. "That fairy just abandoned us here!"
"Maybe we should try to find the Portal Masters." Cynder suggested.
"But where are they?" Drobot asked.
"Good question..." Cynder replied.

L-Spyro and L-Trigger Happy walked in.
"Still no sign of Double Trouble." L-Spyro said. "I wonder why that fairy wanted him anyway."

Gill Grunt was in the Nintendo Building.
"This is fun!" he cheered, running around.

Miyamoto walked over to him. "Did you break into the game editing room to watch TV?"
"Uh... No." Gill Grunt replied.
"Then why do all of the copies of Black 2 have the Pokemon Anime recorded onto them?" Miyamoto asked.
Gill Grunt looked side-to-side. "It was... uh... Itoi."
"THAT B******!" Miyamoto cried, running off.

Gill Grunt sighed, then ran outside.

Bash and L-Bash were sitting on a balcony outside the hotel.
They were staring at the moon.
"The moon is really lucky!" L-Bash said. "I'd never be THAT patient!"
"What do you mean?" Bash asked.
"Well the moon never has to move." L-Bash replied. "Not even to pee!"
"I guess..." Bash said. "But I'd say it's lucky because it gets to be in the sky. If only I could fly..."

L-Bash looked up. "Hey! It's a shooting star!"
Bash looked up. "I wish I could fly!"

One star flew away and crashed in the distance.

"What was that?" L-Bash asked.
"I don't know." Bash replied. "But we should check it out!"

The two jumped off the balcony and rolled off.

Steve, Ghost Roaster, and Ghostilicus entered a cemetery.
Steve picked up a bottle.
"The Healing Elixir!" Ghostilicus cried. "You've found it!"
"Now we're ready!" Steve cheered.
"To die..."

A giant eyeball floated up. It was Occulous.
"You cannot defeat me." Occulous said. "I am faster and stronger than you."
"Bring it on!" Ghost Roaster cried.

Bash and L-Bash reached a cliff.
Near the edge was a glowing stone, the same size as Bash.
"What is it?" L-Bash asked.
"No clue..." Bash replied, approaching it.

A crack appeared. A gem dragon burst out.
"Blinded by the Light!" she cried.

"Cool!" L-Bash said.
Bash stared at the gem dragon. "You're cute..."

She turned around.
"Who are you! State your business!" she cried.
"I'm Bash!" Bash replied. "Who are you?"
"Nevermind." she replied. "Were you sent by him?"
"Who?" Bash replied.
"WERE YOU SENT BY HIM?!?" she cried.
"Who is he?" Bash asked.
"If you won't answer me, I'll have to use force!" she cried, firing a laser shot at him.
It knocked Bash off of the cliff.

"I love yoooooouuuuu..." he cried, while falling.

The gem dragon smiled. "Flashwing out."
She flew off.

I'm not gonna say all of the changes on chapter changing. But here is some key things:

Mentions of Amicus having his mask removed were taken out, due to changes of placement.

Chapters 15 and 18 are completely new.

Dracula has been removed.

Some chapters are shorter (ones on Skylands, due to not enough info, but the chapters are still long enough to count).

CHAPTER 21: ESCAPE!

Spyro and Whirlwind were still on the Eiffel Tower.
"They aren't coming back." Whirlwind said.
"No..." Spyro replied. "But maybe they'll..."

They teleported away.

Spyro and Whirlwind arrived in the Ruins.
Double Trouble and Navi were also there.
"What the..." Spyro said.
"Now that you three are all here, I must tell you something." Navi. "You three are the chosen ones."
"Huh?" Double Trouble asked. "That makes no sense."
"Just shut up." Whirlwind said. "I'll explain it to you later."
"Okay." Double Trouble replied. "But you gotta use it as a picture book."

Navi sighed. "AS I WAS SAYING, you three are the chosen ones. Part of your powers can be used to stop the darkness. Royal powers, Polar powers, and Dark powers. I will now release the powers from within."

All three Skylanders were struck by balls of light.

Malefor entered the prison cells.
"Do you have a slingshot?" he asked.
"Yeah. Here."
A gillman handed him a slingshot. He had a long grey beard which traveled across the cell.
"Thanks!" Malefor replied. "What's your name?"
"Gurglefin." he replied. "I've been trapped in here for six months."
"You know the door is broken, right?" Malefor asked.
"WHAT? IT IS?" Gurglefin cried.
He ran out.

"And people say I'm stupid." Malefor said.

A golden Stealth Elf with blue clothes ran out of the lab.
"Legendary Stealth Elf is here!" L-Chop Chop cheered.
"So what now?" L-Stealth Elf asked. "What do I do?"
"I dunno." Pop Fizz replied. "We were never told."

Pop Fizz turned red again. "Get me some Fanta."
He turned blue again. "Actually, make that Soda."
He became red. "No! Fanta!"
L-Chop Chop stared at him. "What the..."

Malefor handed Shroomboom the slingshot.
"Awesome! Thanks!" Shroomboom cried.
"No problem." Malefor replied. "See ya!"
He walked off.

Shroomboom picked up every mushroom.
He shot them all over the gate, one by one.
"Be free my friends!" he cried.

10 MINUTES LATER...

Shroomboom launched himself over the gate.
"Yeah! Finally outta there!" he cheered. "And all before pizza night, too."

CHAPTER 22: STEVE RETURNS!

Steve used the Time Twist hourglass.
Everyone slowed.
"That won't work on me in the ghost world." Occulous said.

Ghostilicus slowly floated over to a switch.
Everyone was sent to the real world.

"NOOOOOO!" Occulous cried, slowly.
"Now fire the cannon!" Ghostilicus slowly cried.
"Will do!" Ghost Roaster replied, slowly firing the cannon.

Occulous was hit. He slowly collapsed. "Noooooo!"

Steve deactivated the Time Twister.
"Really?" he asked.

Occulous vanished.

"That was the test?" he asked. "That was stupid."

The Grim Reaper appeared in front of him.
"Yeah, but we had a low budget, so he was all we could afford." he said. "Anyway, well done Steve. You beat the Trial of Darkness! Using your new powers, rejoin with the Skylanders. Your Portal Master friends will rejoin you soon. Oh, and hurry up and find the other Skylanders. The Darkness is spreading."

Steve and Ghost Roaster disappeared.

"Low budget?" Ghostilicus asked.
"Yeah." the Grim Reaper replied. "But we couldn't give him the toughest ones. His weapons are only weak."

Bash and L-Bash entered the room.
"Where have you been?" Hex asked.
"Nevermind." L-Bash replied.

Steve and Ghost Roaster appeared.

"Cool! Do that again!" Zook said.
"No." Steve replied. "But is everyone here?"

"Let me check..." Cynder said.
Everyone lined up.
Cynder. Wrecking Ball. Chop Chop. Bash. Boomer. Drobot. Zook. Hex. L-Spyro. L-Bash. L-Trigger Happy.
"Yep. It's us all." Cynder replied.
"Where's Double Trouble?" Steve asked.
"The fairy took him to Skylands." Boomer replied.


Stump Smash ran in. "I FINALLY FOUND YOU GUYS! Now let me sit down for a bit."
"But we're leaving." Ghost Roaster replied.
"Can't it wait 'till morning?" Stump Smash asked.
"There won't be a morning." Steve replied. The darkness is spreading."

"So where are we going?" Wrecking Ball asked.
"Good question." Steve replied. "Well, maybe we should ask the readers."
"Good idea." Chop Chop replied. "What do you guys think?"
"Post your ideas in the comments!" Drobot said.
"And only suggest places where we haven't been yet." Zook added.

CHAPTER 23: TRIAL OF ICE BEGINS...

Hannah woke up. She was surrounded by snow.
"Where am I?" she asked.
"The Himalayas."
She stood up and looked around.
"Who said that?" she asked.
"Me."
"Who?" she asked.

A hologram appeared. It was Santa.
"Me! How are you?" he asked.
"Uh... Santa?" Hannah asked.
"Yes. That's me!" he replied. "And you have to complete the Trial of Ice! You must enter the Empire of Ice and help them get Summer again! You must also collect the two magical items, and rescue Slam Bam. Meet up with Haldor while you're there. He'll help you."

A huge igloo-shaped building rose up.
The door opened.
Hannah walked inside.

Gill Grunt stopped running.
"I think I've lost them." he said. "Not like I was being chased in the first place, but whatever."
He looked around.
"Who the hell am I talking to?"

Karen walked over to him.
"Aren't you one of the Skylanders?" she asked.
"Yeah." Gill replied. "Have you seen my friends? Or the Portal Masters? I kinda forgot to go with them..."
"Not since a few days ago." Karen replied. "Sorry."
"Oh, no problem." Gill said. "I'm sure they'll be back for me."

A wizard flew over to Hannah.
"Hello! I am Haldor!" he said. "You must be the Portal Master!"
"Uh, yeah." Hannah replied. "My name's Hannah."
"Good to meet you Hannah." Haldor replied. "I'm here to guide you. You must first find the magical items. One is with Slam Bam."
"What one is that?" Hannah asked.
Haldor thought. "Um... I think... it was.... maybe... uh... Sky-Iron Shields! That's it!"

"Well, let's go then!" Hannah said.
"Okay. Follow me." Haldor replied, flying off.

MEANWHILE...

CHAPTER 24: DARK SPYRO

Whirlwind split into two.
Double Trouble split into two.

"Polar Whirlwind and Royal Double Trouble." Navi said. "Excellent."

Spyro shook off the light.

"Huh?" Navi said in confusion. "Dark Spyro should form now!"
"Anytime soon please." Polar Whirlwind said.
"While we're young." Royal Double Trouble added.
"SHUT UP!" Navi cried. "What's up?"
Spyro sighed. "I knew this day would come. That's why Eon tried to prepare me for it..."
"What day?" Whirlwind asked.
"The day... the darkness returns." Spyro replied.
"Ooh! Story time!" Double Trouble said. "I'll get the popcorn!"

Spyro sat down. "It all started exactly one year ago, just before Kaos destroyed the Core of Light..."

'Eon had invited me to the Core of Light only a few days before Kaos had destroyed it.'

Eon and Spyro approached the Core of Light.
"Spyro, I bet you're wondering why I brought you here." Eon said.
"Not really." Spyro replied. "I can read your mind."
"Oh." Eon said. "Well I'll tell you anyway."

Eon placed his hand on the Core of Light.
"This is the Core of Light." he said. "It is the source of light not only Skylands, but the entire universe too. If something were to happen to it, the darkness would be released, and the whole universe will become covered with Darkness. That is why we must protect it."
"So what you're saying is..." Spyro started. "That Kaos wants to destroy it."
"Why... yes." Eon replied. "How do you know?"
"What WON'T that guy do?" Spyro replied.
"Oh yes. Good point." Eon replied.

'I didn't know it at the time, but after that day, my life would change incredibly.'

"Anyway..." Eon said. "To help protect it from Kaos, we must create another barrier of Magic around it. Do you think you can do it Spyro?"
"Bring it on!" Spyro cheered.

'So, oblivious to what would happen, I approached the Core of Light and started to focus my powers. Dark energy had began to fill me. It had pretty much consumed me. I had become... Dark.'

"Oh no..." Eon said. "What have I done?"

"Grrrrr... Arrrffff..." Spyro cried, as his skin became black, and his horns and wings became silver.
"ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHH!" he cried, splitting into two forms.

One was the new, dark form. The other was normal Spyro.

"What the..." Eon said. "What is this?"
"I have a headache..." Spyro said.
"Me too." the darker Spyro said. "Oh, and can I borrow a pen?"
"Who are you?" Eon asked.
"You may call me Dark Spyro." it replied. "I'm all of the dark energy that lives within my bud here."

Eon thought.
"Well... As you are pretty much darkness energy, it may be dangerous for you to stay here. Especially since the Darkness may be freed soon." he said.
"Well what should we do with him... err... me?" Spyro asked, getting confused.
"I suppose we should keep him in his natural element." Eon replied. "We shall hide him within the darkness."
"YAY!" Dark Spyro cheered.

"And that's the story." Spyro finished.
Double Trouble stood up and dropped the popcorn. He started clapping. "Hooray! Hooray! Encore! Encore!"
Whirlwind slapped him. "Shut up!"

Navi sighed. "I guess I'm heading to the Core of Light then. I'll send you guys back to Earth first though."
"Wait. Why do you need Dark Spyro?" Spyro asked.
Navi sighed. "My boss requires him. He needs him for his plan."
"Cooooool!" Double Trouble and Royal Double Trouble said.
"SHUT UP!" Whirlwind and Polar Whirlwind shouted.
