The 3 packs and adventure packs for Spyro's Adventure were raised to 25 dollars in other countries, but they stayed at 20 in Canada for some reason. They're making it even now so we don't get such a huge savings on three packs. It used to be that buying a 3 pack in Canada was only one cent more expensive than buying two single packs, basically meaning you'd get a free skylander if you bought a 3 pack. I can understand why they raised the price.

Our plan is to hit Walmart first for the glow in the dark Cynder start pack. Then Toys R Us for opening for the legendaries, then EB for the pre-ordered gold cannon pack!

I'm assuming all of them should have all the other available guys, right?

i just called my local TRU... they have 500 pre-orders. so there will likely be even more than that there. yikes. and they are not opening early.

yeah i know why is TRU opening early in the states but not in Canada. :-(. It's gonna be packed as it is tomorrow opening early makes sense. I pre ordered all my figures and starter pack from eb games they are opening 1 hour early then normal . For those who don't know eb games will let you pre order all the figures you want.So all i got to do is go and get my figs that i want from TRU.

So the glow starter pack is available in Canada?

I can't believe i'm 30 years old and this excited about some toys and a video game it feels weird but a good weird LOL

It will probably be super busy around my area since Skylanders was REALLY popular in British Columbia. I'm actually glad they aren't opening early though. It's gonna be hard enough for me to wake up at any time before 10:00AM. (I'm a night-owl)

I'm heading out at 11:00am. I'm most worried about the toys not being stocked by the time I get there.
Hopefully everything will be up and running right when these stores open up for the day.

same walmart cause 7 then toys rus 10 and legendarys and then eb games cause i pre oredered the game and the golden pack im leaving in A HOUR

its about 4 hours till tru opens here. im really nervous if there are going to be lines

My husband took my son for the 7am Walmart opening. They said it was crazy!! Lineups, people arguing over guys, chaos!

I was not expecting that on opening :/

They are off to Toys r Us for the Lengendaries....though, I think he's almost out of cash!

i was also at walmart for 7am. only a few people waiting. they weren't prepared for this at all! they hadn't unpacked a single box yet. so my sister and i unpacked most of it and got one of everything. didn't find any variants though they have another skid in the back so maybe later today once the pegs clear a bit TRU is gonna be crazy busy so we are going about an hour before opening.

Picked up 360 starter pack, Chill, pop fizz, fright rider, Swarm, Crusher and Bouncer this am at Walmart kitchener . They had no light cores at all. Still had about 15 boxes to put out.

Welp got my copies of Chill, fright rider, Swarm, Crusher and Bouncer at Toys R Us in Oakville.

Now I'm just waiting for my 3ds starter pack that I got for $20 to come in the mail tomorrow.

I've very annoyed that the early wave 2 thing is American only

Back from Toys R Us too, and we found the remainder. Huge lineup there. We were about 15 back at 9:30 and by 10 there was probably more than 100. When the doors opened they had us form the same line we were in outside of the electronics section. They were only letting approx. 10 people in at once. They were limiting it to one of each kind.

We got the Legendary 3-pack, L-Bouncer, and the new Slam Bam we couldn't find at Walmart.

Still need to pick up our EBgames pre-order Golden Cannon pack, but we forgot the preorder receipt..so maybe we'll go out later :/

So, I think that's it for wave 1 right? God, I hope so.

You know you don't actually need your receipt to pick up your order at EB games. Or at least I've picked up stuff with out mine at times anyhow.

And yes that's all of wave 1. Problem is Wave 2 is already out in the states so the question is when do we get it here?

got back from tru, there was a flsh mob there. i was able to get everything in wave one though

i got one of everything and about 5 of them i have 2 cant wait for wave 2 HOT HEAD!!!!!!!!!!!!

My ebgames lie, you can get the dragonfire pack at toys r us and walmart. Btw for people who got the glow in the dark skylander versions at walmart, how cool is it?

Got everything for my boys today. Not impressed that the Wii portal now has to be plugged into the Wii game. That sucks! I will continue to use my old one I guess.

went to walmart today around 1pm and they were fully stocked. I guess the rush hasn't started yet. I only picked up Chill for the moment. Waiting on my bestbuy preorder to ship for the game itself.

I went to my Walmart this morning... they hadn't even put the games or characters on the shelves. Picked up the game with the glow in the dark Cynder and 1 of each character they had. They didn't have any giants, no lightcores and no 3 packs. Then went to visit my ebgames, picked up three giants, three lightcores and pop fizz which I didn't have.

Figuring I was done I thought I'd pop into Best Buy to see what they had. Same characters that I already picked up in 3 packs but then I noticed one was different. One of the 3 packs at the back of the row had a Rock Zook in it. Now I've got some duplicates but I can scratch Rock Zook off my find list.

I walked into a Walmart at 4pm and they were fully stocked with everything. Only one other person was browsing. I bought one of each of the new figures and the battle pack.

I'm headed out to TRU right now to see if they have any wave 2.

My bet is November 2nd since that's when Toys r us gets Legendary Stealth elf

When was it confirmed? No wonder why I couldn't find Legendary Stealth Elf. I actually like that colour even though I love the original's colours already.

Yesterday we left the house late, the only reason there was a line at EB was because of people doing trades. We were there like 1.5 hours after the store opened lol, got the Golden Cannon pack that we wanted. Then went to TRU for the rest of the figure. I had no trouble finding the Wave 1's I wanted at all. I'm glad we spent more time on brunch instead of going to the mall first.

It was confirmed in the Toys r us flyer which is posted at the top of page 2 in this thread.

Did anyone locate anything from Wave 2 in Canada? I did a fair bit of calling and looking today, but it appears to only be in the USA. I'm in Ontario, even tried going over the boarder to NY and found nothing.

Still plenty of stock in the GTA. I went to TRU this afternoon and they had everything, and no one buying. I grabbed the Legendaries and a couple three-packs just for the hell of it.

That's what I'm hoping for at least.

We will see, I think it's odd ativision is pushing the waves out earlie... I smell them going to do more than they already announce. This is ativision after all

Both EB Games in my area are still flooded with figures. Definitely no shortage here. I hope this keeps up for the wave 2 release in two weeks.

Golden Cannons pack are still sort of available at my EB. I might grab another one tomorrow so I can keep one sealed.
