Will there be a lot of over bearing parents buying for their bratty kids who really don't deserve anything?

It was quiet in Ireland. I got my stuff without waiting or hassle. It may be different in certain areas. All stores had plenty of stock. No problems getting anything.

youtube will be flooded with skylanders giants videos like mine

it'll be either a long line of people with lots of waiting or there will be nobody there and tons of stock.
im hoping that theres nobody there, and that i get my glow in the dark portal at walmart, then granite crusher in the morning at target, and then legendaries at toys r us.

My hopes are all the little kids don't go to walmart at 8:30am to buy da stuff.

There will be plenty to go around I have a feeling. With a lot of rolling opening times. If you miss something at Midnight...you get another chance at Target, Best Buy, and TRU...so don't get caught up in the panic. Just get what you really need first and then the rest...

It was very quiet for me and I actually only saw two other people looking for Skylanders... I think most kids were at school cause apparently my TRU sold out of Giants figures today(unless a scalper suddenly moved into that area).:

Hopefully, even though there are a TON of collectors and crazy moms in my area, it will be quiet and the store shelves will be plentiful of figures..

The day before Giants comes out:

If I go to Target/Best Buy/Gamestop sometime before Thursday and see the POP I will really say:
FFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!! right in front of everyone!

My area walks into target with my mom getsone of each skylander with pop pack i buy swarm and fright rider with 26 bucks my mom buys the rest

I'm going at 5:30 tomarrow.

Good thing I actually like the regular Crusher better than the Granite one. I don't have to worry about it. : )

I think stock will be a lot better. The size of displays in all stores has increased since S:SA, and that should be a pretty accurate indicator that this won't be another Wham-Shell debacle. Granted, you still can't drag your feet, but it's not going to be Superbowl tickets out there either.

Spyro is the worst character in the game! Even the kids or scalpers don't want him!

I just got back from my Rome NY Walmart from the 12:00 midnight release. They had 8 total giants. I was the 4th in line. We all got 1 crusher and 1 swarm. There were something like 20 of the small sized giants series. I picked up chill,pop fizz, fright rider, ignitor. No light core were available. The workers told us that's all they had but I wonder if they are holding back some for release tomorrow. Now that was a lot fewer than I thought they would have. I guess TRU with the buy one get one 40% off at 8:00 AM might be a good place to go. Good luck everyone.

Well, going to Target later this morning and I'm only getting Granite Crusher but I'll take pics of what was there
