Sorry, I mentioned it in my post of this pic in another thread but not here - I actually found that variant in the hunt for SG figures so it got a ring-in status for the shot. Kind of like a Skylander photo bomb?

That Gnarly Tree Rex is so epic. I'd love to have one but alas, I refuse to pay the 100+ he's going for on ebay. (I was bidding on one but didn't stay the highest for long).

And not sure if it'd be worth it to get the Wii bundle just for the figure. :/ I dunno.

I'd buy a gnarly if it was sold separate. HINT HINT ACTIVISION.

I think of it this way - what would I be prepared to pay for him? Let's call that $x.

I buy the bundle and a spare Giant char for $a and $b.

I remove Gnarly and then sell:

Mint console (in my case it was the PS3) for $y
Modified Starter pack (put the spare Giant char in the pack to compensate for now missing Tree Rex) for $z

As long as

a + b - y - z <= x then I have achieved my desire and got the fig I wanted without paying more than I wanted.

Even if I don't quite recoup what I was originally anticipating (has not happened yet) then I would still have paid less than $100 for it.

Will anyone be willing to trade/give/sell me a Swarm or a Pop Fizz...I'd ask for Flashwing or Sprocket but not everyone has them and would be willing to sell/trade/give them away...

Sprocket's not a problem on my end to offer up but the only ones I'm missing right now are Gnarly T. Rex and Hot Head.

And like Dunkin said I'm not too keen on the wii bundle either. While you can break about even with selling off parts of the bundle you don't want with the 3DS version to get Punch Pop Fizz, the Wii bundle seems like...it'd be a lot harder.

Do you guys think that their will be a lot more gnarly tree rex on ebay after november 4th, the official release for the blue wii bundle with GTR (gnarly tree rex) in it?

BINGO! Exactly my plan. If the PS3 was available in the US I'd just keep it since I need a bluray player but since I don't.....I am doing the same thing with the Wii bundle.
