Has anyone gotten the email offer? Not sure if i missed someone posting it somewhere.

What is the email about? I should be subscribed to TRU emails, but I haven't gotten anything either. Are you from the US?

the preorder email just won't come (if it doesn't lets get a mob of laweyers)

^ What he said.Awhile back if you preordered from tru they were offering an unamed skylander to you via email at the beginning of Oct (many people believe it to be L Bouncer, possibly at half price).

That's for in store orders. Online orders give you the oppurtunity to buy a figure through an email they will send.

I'm in IN and have a friend that works at TRU here have gotten nothing extra for the preorders in store, not even a garentee that you get to buy anyother figures just preorder and first come first serve.

They work on the floor are they just too low on the totem pole to get the insider info or what.

Still no email to those who pre-ordered online? Time is running out for them to honor their promotion and allow pre-order customers to also purchase a Giants single before they ship this weekend.

I emailed Toys'r'us twice about this. The first time the person said that all they knew was that we were getting a free figure, and that its product name was blue bash. I told the person that blue bash and l-trigger happy were part of the deal, but we were still guaranteed a figure to purchase. I asked when we can expect the email and what figure it might be. Guess what I got? No response... The first email they answered in a matter of hours. The second I got nothing and its been a week since I sent it out.

Gonna have alot of ticked off people if they dont hold up that offer. Walmart had the same promotion.

I'm in a suburb of Indy and they offer the unnamed Giants figure (and L-Trig Happy) with a pre-order in this part of IN... but I pre-ordered the GITD one from Sam's instead, so idk about any emails, just know what they offered at my local TRU

Who is the extra character?

I sent them an email a while ago about the promotion. This is what they had to say:

I preordered my game a few months back but I had a few questions.

For those of us in the US, are we getting the Legendary Bouncer giant variant? Is that the giant we'll be able to purchase when we pick up the game, or is it a different Giant character?

I saw an ad for the Australian TRU which stated they'd be able to purchase a Giants figure (The Legendary Bouncer) for 50% off (For $9.99) and I'm hoping we'll have access to that same deal. Is that happening for those in the US?

Finally, I was just wondering about the Legendary Trigger Happy and Blue Bash figures which appear to be for those who preordered online only. Is this for ANYONE who preorders the game, or something else?

With this promotion it depends on which game system you pre-ordered. We have lots of different types that you can get with the promotion and game. I haven't seen anything about any special promotion for Australia customers at all. And as for the Legendary Trigger Happy and Blue Bash figures yes that is for free with your pre order.

So they kind of avoided the answer of L-Bouncer, but I'd imagine it should be $9.99 when picking up the starter pack (the Full starter pack. They way they responded with the different packs makes me think it might not be for those getting the Portal Owners pack..)

Oh. Hmm...nope, I didn't get an email like that.

I figured they'd send an email about what the unnamed Giant that we'd be getting on release day. We know it's L-Bouncer, but they should have told us that directly from the company.

That one pic though, I noticed they don't have a TRU Exclusive tag by the Legendary 3 Pack. How odd.

Seriously! I wish I knew to preorder the legendaries! Last spring I didn't get the legendary triple pack til March!!! Ugh. I don't wanna wait!!!

I still don't understand how anyone could've thought that the "guaranteed opportunity to buy a regular single character retailing for9.99" could have been L-Bouncer or any other giant...

^That is exactly what they offered in Australia, L-Bouncer for $9.99 with pre order.
