Local Walmart. At checkout one person had a manager come and they have me the recall excuse and they took it. Then I went back and talked to a lady in electronics and told her how they're just sitting out and others were able to buy it at their Walmart. She manually entered the item and now I have the game.

Walmart in mustang Oklahoma, which isn't far from he city. It was on the way to my sons football practice. Had I known I was going to get it early, I would have brought my 3DS. I've actually wanted to try the 3DS version above all else, as it looks better than the first game on the 3DS.

SPOILERS his name is either Captain Frightbear, Brightbeard, Dreadbeard, Drakebeard, or Lightbeard. It's something like that. It isn't KAOS or Hektor. I will record a level in a second and show everyone the first level. Music is awesome so far.

I also don't know if I have a defective Tree Rex, but on any portal I put him on, his arm laser won't light up. However, I know it does, because I got to place a console Starter Pack on a portal and both his arm and laser lit up.

I will check when I get to the hub. So far, the first level was pretty long. There is no time limit in levels now. Now I am watching a CG cutscene with Hugo and Flynn. Baddie's name is Captain Frightbeard.
This is a totally different story than the console games, but features characters from the console games.

Okay, on the hub. It's Flynn's Ship as well. Lifeboat is where you can check your collection, which I am at 2 of 99.
Characters still pop up when you select them, even ones you don't own. It doesn't show any variants except from the first game. It shows 54 of 99 characters. It doesn't list series 2 or Lightcore, but I bet it has spots for them, so add 24 + 8 to that 54, for a total of 86. Add 6 Legendaries for a total of 92. That leaves 7 unaccounted for.

So far I haven't seen her.
I recorded a video, but it may take a while to upload and I may have to return this and see if I can get another. In anycase, I have to take something back, unless it's a glitch. When I registered Series 2 Cynder, she didn't even show up as registered. It still said I only had 2/99.

99? crap
Let's do the math: 37 figures from S:SA, the 8 (45)Giants, 8 (53)LightCore, 8 (61)new figures, 24 (85) series 2 reposes,6 (91) Known Legendaries.Adding: Punch Pop Fizz/Granite Crusher/ Gnarly Tree Rex makes 94 in game variants we were aware of. The following five are gueses based on prototypes and screen shots we have seen: If you add in the lexpected green Flashwing, white whirlwind, yellow hotdog, Royal Double Trouble and variant Ninjini you have 99. It will be intereting if these last five guesses are the missing five or if activision hass managed to hide something from us. |

That is a good question. But, I doubt she is because, she was not in the first 3ds game, and neither was Flynn. Can't have Cali without a little "BOOM!" too. I'm sorry that you're having so many problems with the game GameMaster. It is disappointing considering the fact that I was very disappointed in the first game. (It was still fun though!) Hey, if you put a Skylander on your 3ds game, then take the figure and put it on one of the other versions without actually removing it from the game, what happens? In the old game, it would completely mess up your Skylander. I put my Drobot into the game as a level 4, and then put him back on the Xbox version. I then leveled him up to about 8. After that, I turned my 3ds version back on, and he showed up as level 4 because I never actually removed the crystal from my game. Doing this is what causes the 3ds version to write to him) I leveled him up to 6, put him back on the Xbox one, and he was level 6 again! I wonder if they have resolved that problem in the new one. It really makes the compatibility between all systems look like a big lie.

He was number 92 on the list I constructed of the 94 we have that are known and confirmed I seem to remember hearing that 3DS portals were not compliant with Lightcore technology. Did you try a regular game system portal for S:SA? I know he will not work in game but will it activate the Lightcore function? |

The reason for this is that, since the portal does not have a cord, it doesn't have enough power to make it light up. This also explains why it worked at the store. It just needs too much electricity to be powered by batteries. You do not have a defective Tree Rex. Once the other games come out and you get them, his hand will light up just fine. I am not sure why your Cynder would not be registering into your collection, though. You may have to either just live with it or contact Activision once the game comes out. No matter what, have fun!

I checked my console portals, and the eyes only light up. So, it's not just the wireless portal that's doing it. I used my PC portal and 360 portal, which are both wired.
I think what it is, and people need to learn this lesson (this is my kids' Tree Rex, so they don't mind if the hand lights up), is that when I pulled him out of the packaging, I pulled him by his arm and heard a funny sound. Maybe I broke the light inside the arm. If so, just remember when unboxing yours... DON'T PULL HIM OUT BY THE ARM! The portal for 3DS is also the GITD style like the other guy posted the Wii version. The entire portal is semi-seethrough, thus the entire portal lights up. When all of the lights are off and it's in the dark. the entire portal has a faint glow to it, while there is a small green light on top of the portal, and the bottom part of the portal that used to light up green, had a glow to it. It's pretty neat. I registered the expansion levels to the game to see if it filled up that 99 and it didn't. I wonder if Series 2 Cynder Special didn't register because it's a variant and not an actual Series 2, which would have just said "Series 2 Cynder"?

They say they haven't, but they really do. They have this system set up, according to a lady I spoke with tonight, where something in the telzon will simulate a 0 inventory. They called it something, but I forget. One of my local stores said they had 0, but a CSM confirmed someone tried to buy a starter from there today.

The CSM at a store that showed they had 0 was told by another employee that someone brought a PS3 Starter Pack up to the register to check out, but they wouldn't allow the sell.
All stores have them. AH, I remember now. When you scan the price tags to check stock, it shows Invalid IP or IP Data not found. I said, "so, is that cause for worry that this particular store won't have them at midnight on the 21st?" They said, "No. It just means under a strict street date, so the system shows us as having 0 when we really have them, that way none get sold before the release date."

Weren't you the one freaking out because "evil" scalpers on eBay were buying stuff early? Now some poor Walmart employee is probably going to get written up for overriding a "Do not sell" on the register (which is an offense you can be written up for) because you harassed her into selling it to you early. I mean the circle of wire inside the portal, the antenna. If it isn't looking to read a Skylander then it isn't giving out power, the only point at which the 3DS portal does that is when you're trying to load a character into the game. The rest of the time it's just an LED on inside the portal.

Yeah, but see, here's the deal. I checked my Tree Rex on both of my wired console portals (PC and 360), and his laser jewel should have lit up. Well, that is unless they removed them for some reason, from the Tree Rex's inside the 3DS game.
I got to hold a Starter Pack on 360 the other day. I took it over to a displayed portal at my local TRU, and Tree Rex's hand lit up alongside his eyes. Mine (will be my kids come Sunday) only has his eyes lighting up on my 3DS, PC, and 360 portals, which leads me to believe the light in his arm is broke. Again, the first time I tried removing him (he's tough to take out), I tugged at his arm. I think I might have broken it, because why would his jewel light up on the portal at TRU, when it is still set to SSA, but I can't get it to light up here? I just think I broke it. My son doesn't mind, he said. He said he's just lucky to have a giant, because I refuse to buy them a complete set after they never played with their SSA sets again after they beat the game. I told him he now has to earn them by doing chores or doing good at football or school. I've shot two videos of the 3DS game. Both are the first two cutscenes I've seen. Once they have been updated, I will either edit this post, or post a new post, depending on if someone else has posted or not.

Putting words and actions onto other people is just stupid. The site doesn't deserve ignorance. You're going to sit there and act as if I harassed someone to sell it to me? Do yourself a favor and be there to see what happened with your own eyes, before rattling off baseless assumptions. Here is the first video, which is the opening of the 3DS game. http://s15.photobucket.com/alb...nt=DSC_0789.mp4 Second one if uploading.
