Just been browsing Tesco's website....well they have listings for a lot of the new 'landers... at £33 for a triple pack...£12 for a normal ...what?

You can now pre order all of wave 1 from gamestation. I managed to hold them and look at them close up. Singles are 8.99, lightcores are 11.99 and giants are 14.99.

Anyway as the street date in America has now been broken I have found something odd. Apparantly a Glow in the Dark 3DS pack does exist. I believe Buzz was asking GAME about it but they kept saying no. Whether GAME are getting it I can't say but it would be weird if they're not.

Impressive that Gamestation are currently the cheapest place for figures in the UK. Bodes well for the likes of Amazon and Play to sell them for a few quid cheaper.

These prices are normal rrp and most places are selling for this price. I know a few places you can get them cheaper.

HMV were selling the singles for £7.99 on their website as a preorder but the prices have gone now. You could have got the Giants on preorder for £12.99 from a different website, a few days ago. On the same website, which I don't want to disclose, you can get the triple packs for £22.85 and the lightcore singles for £9.99.

Just hunt around the usual places if your desperate to save a few quid.

HMV Ireland are selling Starter Pack for around €65.00, €5 cheaper than everywhere else.

Some Gamestops are opening earlier on the 19th, 8am. check your local store.

Starting to see Giants in a few places now. GAME in Taunton had some in the display cabinet and I think I saw a starter pack...

The status for my pre-order for the starter pack on Sainsburys changed to "preparing to dispatch" - presumably that means that they have it in stock and it's going through their shipping system. Hopefully it'll arrive on Friday - but personally, I hope it'd arrive on Thursday

Only my Xbox 360 starter pack order has changed to preparing for dispatch. My other 2 orders, both for the 3DS starter pack, are still "processing order". In my experience of using Sainsbury's Entertainment an item doesn't usually stay in "preparing for dispatch" for more than a day. We could be seeing this on Wednesday or Thursday.

EDIT: They've also added the two triple packs and the battle pack. I would expect them to allow you to buy the characters on Friday.

I was on to Sainsburys Entertainment as I cancelled by Wii Booster but the cancellation didn't go through in time - enough about that, the good news is:
Sainsburys have sent the Skylanders orders off to Royal Mail and they should arrive by the 19th!

I haven't had confirmation of that. I've just had an email from Sainsbury's Entertainment saying that payment will be processed shortly and that I will get a dispatch email when this happens. It also confirms that I will get them for release date.

^During my phone call it was unofficially confirmed. The staff in the call center could not cancel my order as it had already been sent to the dispatch to get the package ready for Royal Mail. They will however allow me to get a free returns label and will refund me my unwanted Booster pack as I did put my cancellation in time, but the computer/system mucked up.

I dont know which pack I should get. The Portal owners pack IS cheaper but I really want Series 2 Cynder! Which pack should I get?

Well it depends where you get it from, really. I'm only getting the starter pack at Gamestation for the GiTD Cynder, which I am already regretting...

I'd recommend getting the Starter Pack because you get Cynder and Punch Pop Fizz or Jet Vac, depending on which version. You probably save some money getting them in the starter pack, but I guess you may not have wanted them in the first place.

^You don't HAVE to get the GITD pack if you don't want it Sequoia, I'm not going to pick up mine now. Yes I will forfeit my deposit, but better to loose £5 than spend £60 (well £55 once the deposit is taken out of the calculations) on a pack you really don't want.


As a matter of a little warning I guess, since this is the Pre-order thread come release day (or soon afterwards) I will remove all but the Wii U prices. I was going to close the thread as it had served it's purpose,but I just remembered the Wii U version isn't available yet, so we can still all pre-order that

I doubt it. It was the same price Instore and online when the legendaries 'relaunched' last time around at £22.99 after originally being £19.99.

My starter pack got dispatched too - huzzah! It was dispatched a few hours ago, so it could even arrive tomorrow - when I got SSA it was dispatched and arrived the same day.
