Light-Cores are the same like Series2 skylanders just with light and a light-bomb.Remodels and series1 skylanders dont have soul gems to upgrade in Giants but they can be used.

Only giants and new skylanders have soul gems

I gotta say, I LOVE the packaging on the Giants. I also think the packaging is overall better this time around. I love the more cornered edges of the plastic. The curved packaging of Spyro's Adventure doesn't look as good now. The more I see of the figures, the more of them I want to buy. T_T Also, every time I see Swarm's figure, my opinion on it changes. I'm back to liking it again.

Guess I'll probably end up buying all of the new characters after all. And I'll probably end up buying 2 of each of the new characters. >__> (and probably a few Series 2 figures as well)

Well I have a half-day of sixth form on Friday (finish at 12.00), So I'm gonna try and go to Toys R Us and Tescos (which are conveniently next to each other) to try and pick up the Legendary Pack and maybe Fright Rider and or a giant (either Crusher or Bouncer)

That would be epic,considering I already have Zap ( he was rumoured to be in the Hot Dog battle pack)

I think it'd be odd for Hex to be in the battle pack, since that would mean TWO battle packs would have a series 2 Undead character. Also, since Cynder's series 2 figure is in the starter pack, it would mean that half of the undead characters would only be available in weird ways. Though the same was true for the Water element in the first game, so who knows. :/

First the battlepack apperars to be a battle between elements seeing how its undead and life and posibly water and fire. Also there was no single pack for zap. We have not seen anything about hot dogs packs so the most likly answer is that zap and hotdog in in the second batlepack with the catapult.

I just hope Hot Dog is eventually released in a single. My OCD hates how you can't just get every character in a single. It'd be cool if Toys For Bob made a small amount of Tree-Rex Singles, Jet-Vac singles, and Cynder singles, and THOSE could be the rare variant type characters instead of junk like Crystal Wham-Shell, Crystal Stealth Elf and Crystal Onix and all that junk.

Hot Dog should eventually be available in a single (if he is in the battle pack) if the Mustard Hot Dog Variant is sold

I actually used to think that was the Shiny version. When I found out it was not, I was disappoint. :c

Earth and Air may get a pack. Flashwing and Sonicboom?

I'm curious as to whether or not I'll be able to unlock heroic challenges in Skylanders: Giants with series 1 characters. Do we know heroic challenge information yet?

in one of the FGTV interviews we were told that they will not.

thats' frustrating. It's not fun seeing how worthless series one characters will be. It makes me wonder if the adventure packs will resell with series 2 figures.
