I like FlashWing's design in general. Very bright.
Some people flip a lid because the balance of species is messed up for the skylanders, but hey, if the director thought 1.It would make the fans happy(because its a dragon) or 2.We like it, and the balance isn't really our worry. Directors choice, not ours.

However, I saw shalonekatts(deviantart) comic and was severely disappointed with how she was portrayed in that comic(personality) and generally throughout the whole fanbase.
(She became a skylander, she ISN'T a lover of material things(gems), she's a friggin warrior. Just like all the other skylanders.)
Enjoy her, dislike her fanbase.

Until they decide to do a TV series, or Flashwing appearing in another Skylanders novel or book showing details of her character, we don't know what her personality will exactly be like.

I want her to be more fierce and not so sucker-ish. I also hope she loves Bash in return. If someone as awesome like Bash would love you, you better return the favor.

I agree with this so much. Bash is my favorite character, so I was super excited to see him get such a pretty potential love interest who's also got some spunk.

I'm glad that Flashwing will be released sooner rather than later so I can buy the game with her.
I have unlocked Flashwing to play as on Universe but I don't play it very often because it runs very slow on my computer.

ah, you're right.
but the old flashwing figure you posted had the transparrent blue earth symbol, kinda liked that better, wasn't .. how do I describe it? it balanced the design well I guess.

I think for sure that one of her attacks has something to do with laserbeams from her tail. Look in her biography. It says that she hit bash with a laser from her tail.

I got Flashwing's upgrade list from the official Giants guide:

Starting Powers:
Crystal Shards - Press Attack 1 to fire Crystal Shards.
Shimmering Spin - Hold Attack 2 to spin around and damage anything in Flashwing's path.

Basic Upgrades:
Surrounded By Shards - Press Attack 3 to fire Crystal Shards in all directions but forward.
Luminous Lasers - Hold Attack 1 to charge up a powerful laser shot.
Light Speed Lasers - Shoot Crystal Shards much faster and deal extra damage.
Armored Aura - Condensed light increases your armor.

Super Shards Path:
Shooting Shards - Crystal Shards stick in walls and shoot their own crystals when Attack 1 is pressed again.
Crystal Craziness - Up to three crystals stick in walls and shoot their own crystals when Attack 1 is pressed again.
Healing Crystals - Crystals embedded in a wall heal Flashwing when she is close.

Super Spinner Path:
Extra Radiant Rotation - Shimmering Spin lasts longer and does increased damage.
Reflection Deflection - Get extra armor and deflect enemies' shots back at them while spinning.
Light, Crystal, Action! - While spinning, press Attack 1 to shoot beams of laser light.

Soul Gem ability:
Crystal Lighthouse - Hold Attack 3 to create a Crystal Lighthouse that fires laser light beams.
