Gnarly Tree Rex will indeed be available in Australia and fully working, the Big W catalog confirms him, the set will cost $338 and it's the only way to get him. (Though judging by his card, which has the regular art, he'll probably be the same ingame.)

Gnarly Tree Rex wooooow....I don't have interest in this figure, same with the GITD Cynder. The normal Tree Rex is good enough. Okay Gnarly Tree Rex don't look so ugly like GITD Cynder but I don't understand why people want so much a figure with a other colour and buy the expensive versions or a console bundle because of other colours for a "toy"...xD

Thought this would be nifty to put here. I happened to stop into TRU today and they had a bunch of the new Plush guys in!

There's actually 2 different sizes:


Smaller guys are $9.99

And the bigger ones come with a light up portal keychain. I didn't see a price on them, although I'd assume them to be about $19.99 or so.


Also Giants related- my Target had the signs in for Granite Crusher (Ohio, USA here) and they got in the cool little Giants reserve cards. Target is great because their cards are more similar to giftcards, and if you're looking for things to have in your collection, $1 is hardly anything to waste on it!
