I call fake on this. Why would they easily photoshop the "G" Onto it? And it's really easy to see it's photoshopped :/

It is not fake - it is from an Aussie catalogue from a chain called Big W. I posted the link to the online catalog about this time yesterday.

The G is the game rating meaning General and applicable for young kids. It is not on the box but added on the brochure to make it clear to readers the rating.

However, I see why you would call "shopped"; [i]Kappapopm[i] has cried wolf too many times...

i watched the fgtv vid the part where he said drobot was a poplar character i laughed, no offense to drobot and his fans but nobodys seams to buy him [poor drobot] i wonder where they got that idea...

it looks like family gamer have moved into the house of Paul Reiche III noaw... look at how they set up the room in that youtube video... i bet family gamer sleep there .... under the table.. its clearly he ar more interested in skylanders and his kids not that much... soon also wife maybe leave him. then he is stuck with only skylanders collection and car seats in the living room.. im worried fur him.

Are they all exclusive to Toys R Us? TRU Australia only has for pre order on their website.

Something good to know, and I don't know if every EBGames is doing this, but at least our local EBGames will be opening early on October 21st and open at 10:00AM. Normal Sunday hours would be 11:00AM, so I'm glad the guy gave me a heads up. That location is also having a colouring contest. They had several sheets of paper with Skylanders drawn on it, and if you colour one in and give it back to them by the 21st, you're entered in a raffle to win some Skylanders Giants characters. It's open to all ages too, so this isn't another case of only the kids getting in on the fun stuff. I coloured the one with the life element. Gonna hand it back next time I'm there.

I was watching the video for Hotdog on the giants website when i noticed that he had combos for shooting out his fire balls. you can tell by the sound it makes when you do a combo in the other videos

I know that the G is the Aussie Rating. I mean it conveniently is placed where the E in America should be and it looks blocked in when it could not be photoshopped in good

Lol, i hate him so much I almost wished that happened. But I'm sure he already lives like that, since he blew his money on skylanders. I bet he tried to put his kids on a portal.

Ok folks, the comments about Andy are getting out of hand now. This is someone I've personally worked with and worked for and he's a lovely bloke who is simply producing content that people want to see. The biggest thing in family games right now is Skylanders, so that's what he's covering most. He's not Skylanders obsessed, he's a journalist, doing what good journalists do. Can we please dial back the hate.

I agree,he is a journalist,even though he has the easiest and obviously best job in the world.
He is delivering what the people want.

My only minor quibble is the episode format of his videos where there is a 10 second snippet, the annoying generic intro/titles and then the content.

That twangy music and seeing his kids jump around gets on my brain. Yes, I simply skip forward another 10 seconds, or so, but it is my quibble and I am sticking to it...

Apart from that, all luck to him and kudos for giving things away. I can name people in this forum more "obsessed" with SL than him and not for a media cause (myself included) so I am not going to judge him.

I include myself among those more obsessed.

I'll pass on comments about the intro to him, he'll be interested in people's opinions on all aspects of the videos.

Personally, I'd like to see TFB stop showing off the game so much in general. There's only a week and a bit left for us all, people can wait to play it that long, and we already have enough information on all the levels. Same problem plagued the original. More surprise is needed.
(Not that I watched the video, regardless, they're really bad at revealing information with proper suspense.)
