More TRU news....

I spoke to TRU drone yesterday and they claimed that there would be multiple giants available for those who pre-ordered the game from TRU prior to 10/1 and would get a "guaranteed" giant figure to purchase.

Also, TRU's should be getting the Giants demo station installed this weekend (10/13-10/14) just like Best Buy.

I have SO MANY pre-orders going right now it's not funny... So MUCH MONEY... Sheesh....

Just thought I'd check in with you guys and give you an (uneventful) update.

All of my Lightcore pre-orders are still showing as shipping 10/21/12. But I'm having some doubts. I know that Eruptor, Drobot, and Prism Break Lightcores are all confirmed as launch releases, but I also have Lightcore Pop Fizz, Chill, Shroomboom, Jet Vac, and Hex all on pre-order as well. And they're all showing as shipping the same day.

As far as I know, there haven't been any reports of the latter Skylanders being released any time soon. So what do you think Toys R Us will do with these? I'm guessing they'll send me the released ones but hold back the others, claiming that it was a listing error.

Who knows.

Either TRU was able to secure all of this because they want to elimnate the madness they will have in their stores or they will just ship as released. I still think with all these pre-orders the stores are tyring to manage inventory and the madness of people flooding their stores. There were so many times when I was TRU with SSA, that the employees were so annoyed with constant phone calls and people asking them when are skylanders coming. I am sure complaints made it up to management and activision. We'll soon find out if they fixed inventory shortages or not. I have so much on pre-order, but I am still going to the store, cause just not sure if I can trus the pre-order system or not.

Just checked my pre-orders and it seems many of the Lightcore links are now dead. Some that come to mind are Jet Vac, Drobot, and Eruptor.

Wonder what this means....

Well, those of us who got in preorders, would be getting notices if they were indeed about to ship. I haven't received any notice or pending charges.

Could just be sold out or messed up. I seriously doubt they ship everything they said they would on day 1.
