Hello, everyone. I hope you all enjoy looking at my Giants collection. I have already started amassing a collection of items and even a Battle Pack has managed to find its way to me early.

So, with that said, this is my collection thus far -




And I took a somewhat dark - panorama - pic of the entire wall, which will be the last wall I fill with Skylanders merchandise -



Since this is the start of a new wall, I will keep these old pics as a memento of what my wall once looked like before and after completion of my Giants collection.

So, in two weeks time, I will translate all of the old photos over to this topic here, while keeping it updated with the new wall. Also, look forward to seeing - possibly - a picture in two weeks, of an insane 11 Starter Packs as my day 1 haul. Yeah, I'm that nuts about Skylanders. Why 11? Well -

EDIT: And yes, this wall will require the building of a new shelf, so I can fit 48 figures on it, plus Battle Pack items, and instore/online exclusive variants.

You must be super-mega-ultra-super-mega rich,ill be lucky if I can get 1 copy of the game (sorry if I'm annoying people with this,I'm just annoyed that my friend got a €300 laptop for their birthday and I'm lucky if I can get a €70 game and a €10 figure)

Can I have your EBA poster if you're going to take it down?

Nice Mortal Kombat poster =D (and Raiden is even on the front which makes it ten times better X3)! I can't tell but do you have a Raiden figure in a box above the poster? If so, I have that same figure still in its box also.

Nice Skylander collection so far, by the way =). You also have a good collection of other video game related figures.

Well, materials are fun to have when you can have them. However, don't base your life around materials. Just look at them as a hobby, and be patient. In time, anything you want will come to you, if you want them to.

No, it's only a Sub Zero and Scorpion. Thanks, and it's not much to look at... yet. However, come day 1, I hope to fix that problem.

As I have mentioned before, I am a screenwriter. I am looking to have a movie sold by the end of the year. Depending on how much I make, I will either move into a bigger house (5 bedroom) or have a house custom built.

With the notion of buying a house that isn't custom made from my ideas, I won't have enough room even in a bigger house than the one I live in now. So, until I build my dream house, I will have to put all of the future Skylanders sequels figures and merchandise, into their own 30 gallon buckets. That means I will never stop buying for each new game, it just means any pics taken after Giants will have to be in my kitchen and then put into a bucket.

The only way I will ever give up on Skylanders, is if Activision lies to us, by saying they sent out enough figures, but really didn't in order to create a fake demand. I don't want to deal with the hassle I went through to complete my Skylanders collection the first time. It was filled with scalping employees who held the good stuff in the back, while lying to the customers, waking up at 5 am to sit in line at Toys R Us, only to be told you can buy ONE figure when three were released, and just all kinds of other stupid stuff.

Hopefully they keep each wave stocked, by keeping the wave 1 format of 12 singles per case and they keep them going.

Some time around game release, all of these topics directly pertaining to the merchandise, not gameplay, will be put into the Toys and Merch forum.

That said, I reckon GM78 should keep this thread rather than make the original SSA one super long with both sets of pictures - that would be too much to trawl through.

Chaos makes a good point. I will just keep this one, but it will most likely be moved, as Dark mentioned in my original collection topic. The only way I will merge pictures, I guess, is if I can find a way to shorten the amount of pics I post. I may have an idea in mind, but we will see.

If I get someone in the UK (I've been talking to someone) to help me get one, I would only get one and leave it sealed.

On another note, a Best Buy I frequent got in all of their Giants figures. I got to hold a couple of them. The Giants packaging is huge. Crusher is huge.



Also got to hold a Bouncer. I also held one of the two latest triple packs, but I didn't snap a pic of it.



EDIT: And yes, the cards are on the bottom, along with the sticker sheet.

I don't wanna spark any kind of religious debate, but I would like to point out that many religions believe that... I'm Catholic and we have that teaching too... the first commandment pertains to that (most important one- I am the Lord your God you shall not have other gods besides me- "gods" meaning something we worship/devote ourselves to, could be television, sports, games, material things...) Not to mention Jesus' teachings regarding materialism which would apply to all Christian religions... I'm sure lots of religions have that belief, not just Buddhists I just wanted to let you know that it's much more universal that just Buddhism!

I am hoping other stores are competing with TRU. Then that means every store adds room for more Skylanders, which means more stock to find.

Well, I went back to my particular Best Buy, where they let me see more of my held back Skylanders. I just thought I'd brief everyone, that my local Best Buys (meaning all of them) got about 20 boxes of Skylanders (just figures) yesterday. So, they should have plenty of everything.

Anyhow, I got to hold a Lightcore Prism Break today.

Man, I cannot wait to bring these babies home for day 1.

I may ask at my best buy if I can see them. What did you do to make them show you?

I would just ask them and see what they say. I haven't asked yet but I'm curious now.
