I'm in the UK, and the other night I saw an advert on TV for Skylanders Giants. @_@ It said I could get a blue Tree Rex, exclusive to PS3. I'm just wondering if anyone knows which retailer is stocking this variant? As I don't think it stated it on the advert (kinda just caught the tail end of it). I don't know if it was a starter pack or a booster pack. It just said only for PS3.
@_@ The game isn't even out yet and already I'm losing track of who's selling what exclusives. I know the glow in the dark Cynder/Portal belongs to Game/Gamestation, and the battle pack is at Smyths. Does anyone know of any other exclusives? Like, has Toys R Us announced anything yet?
The blue Tree Rex looked really cool actually, but there's no way I'm buying 2 starters/booster packs, so I wanna know where that one is being sold so I can decide between that an the GITD starter pack.

LOL, I don't know what that is either. Like I said, I'm losing track of everything right now.
So does this mean we don't know which retailer is stocking it?

MossRex or whatever he is called comes with the new "Slim & Light" PS3 console. So far I have only found it at Sainsbury's Entertainment.
Glow in the dark Cynder and portal are exclusive to GAME and Gamestation in the UK. You can get them online or in stores. Smyths Toys are exclusively selling the Golden Dragonfire Cannon battle pack. The regular battle pack is available elsewhere. Toys 'R' Us will again have exclusive legendary figurines. This time they are a triple pack of Slam Bam, Ignitor and Jet Vac; single pack Bouncer, Stealth Elf and Chill. I think that's about it...

That's a special edition of Tree Rex that comes in a pack with the PS3 Slim and game.

AH! Thanks for that guys. Especially Sequoia Spyro. That's very helpful to me, as I've booked the release day off work just so I can go to my local Toys R Us very early in the morning. I missed out on the Legendary versions last time, but not this time!

^ "Moss Rex" was just a nick-name given by the forum members here so it's not its official name. ---------- I'm sure that most retailers that sell Skylanders and game consoles in your area should have the blue Tree Rex. It is included with the PS3 Slim game console (it's packed with it including the Giants game so it's like a console bundle) and not with the PS3 version of Skylanders Giants (meaning you will have to buy the PS3 Slim bundle with it). Edit: Man, people always ninja me !

LOL, I would've called it "Sea Rex", because it's blue and that still rhymes with Tree Rex.

To SPARKX:
No problem , I was just trying to let Masamune know that so they wouldn't get confused.

I can assure you that as I currently have one working and somewhat working PS3 I shall not be investing £229.99 into a game I will already own and a slightly blue TreeRex. I'll get a spare TreeRex in my 3DS starter pack so I'll just paint him or something. It's not like I buy these things to sell them on someday

I guess I could pick up the deal as I dont have a PS3, but I would rather let it get a bit cheaper (unless its limited time package, but I doubt it)
But it all depends on whether or not Moss Rex is different in-game...

I assume he will be the same as regular Tree Rex in game as we haven't come across any screenshots of an alternate Tree Rex yet. On the official website there are pictures of white Whirlwind, Granite Crusher and a few others like red Ninjini, but no blue Tree Rex. Hmmmmmm. Also, some advice on the PS3: Almost every single game needs to install a large portion (1-5 G of the game to the HDD as blu-ray discs have slower read speeds. This model only has 12GB flash memory so you'll be looking at around 4 games to be playable. You'll need an external HDD to make it worth buying. I personally like the second generation console. They're much cheaper as well.

LOL, I've got a 320g PS3 that's nearly full, so a 12g would be no good for me. Would've been nice to have the blue Tree Rex, but I'm not THAT bothered. Thanks again for filling me in guys.
