My opinion on White Whirlwind: AWESOME!

I think that Whirlwind should've looked like that in S:SA.

I think all places deserve the variants. But there you go saying your countries deserve more than others.

What we as consumers deserve is to not be taken advantage of by greedy companies who are trying to convince us that recolours are worth spending an extra 10-16 bucks on. This is just them not being able to decide which colour scheme will go over well, so they decide to sell both and consider it a favour to the customer that we "have the option" when they know very well that it just means collectors will buy both just to have the complete set. Honestly, I don't understand why people care so much about the stupid variants.

Truth is of course that it is about money. But that is business. Consumers deserve NOTHING because they are given the right to chose to purchase the item or not. if you had to buy skylanders then you would deserve a say or some form of equal treatment/fair pricing (theoretically). But you do not.If you don't want to pay $250 for a figure with a different paint job, then don't, that is your right. As far as why people want variant that breaks down into the psychology of capitalism and collecting. A large part of the population have a need to complete something, or have a set (some bordering on OCD), and as long as they do it by choice, there is nothing wrong with that. Personally i love the idea of variants, something collectable and valuable that few others (proportionally) have. Then again i have never paid above retail for any skylander, variant or otherwise. But if you choose to do so, and have the means to do so, more power to you. You comment sounds more like frustration (whether conscious or sub conscious) at your lack of capability to get variants, whether because of funds or location. Very few people who truly do not care for a thing criticize others desire for it, no point in doing it if there is no jealousy.

It's funny because boredom motivated me to draw myself in cartoon form last night. As well as Arkward Zombie... I mean... I hate sleeping because there is so much more I could do with my time, so all-nighters are pretty RAM common for me now. But I still was not pleased with how I drew myself, because one, I suck at cartoon drawing, and two, I suck at human drawing. But I'll link you via Guestbook anyway.
