I'm getting the full Wii Starter Pack, probably L-Bouncer if he's out and we do end up getting the half price sale on him, as well as the Gamestop battle pack. Thinking about saving Chill and Pop Fizz to just get the triple packs at some point, so I might pick up Fright Rider although I'd much rather get Granite Crusher if my stores still have him by the time I get over there.

I'm still saving money for Wii U so I don't really want to drop a lot day 1. I'll just bide my time and get what I can get later. I'm starting off with more than I did for SSA at least!

(that'd be a maximum of 3 Giants, 2 new characters , the cannon and 2 reposes. That's more than enough for me)

Looking at the list, it's actually not that bad of a wave 1 after all. It's still not the greatest it could have been, but including the Starter Pack and Battle Pack, that's slightly more than half of the new characters available right at launch. : )

I'm sure I'm not the only one playing hooky from work, to beat the game, so we can get to Nightmare Mode. Hopefully, Nightmare Mode is as hard as they're making it to be. I want NES-impossible hard (ie Nintendo games on the NES were super tough), and I am holding Nightmare Mode to that caliber of challenge.

I'll probably won't get to have anything from day one :'D

Uh, I can pretty much 100% guarantee that Nightmare mode won't be NES-hard. Heck, even most games targeted towards adults these days don't have the same kind of trial and error pattern recognition difficulty of games like Ninja Gaiden or Castlevania. Prinny Can I Really Be the Hero was a rare case of a true NES style game in modern days, and being an NiS game and a spin-off to the Disgaea series, that was a game targeted towards a very niche audience to begin with.

More likely Nightmare mode will probably be the same level of difficulty as the extra mode of Kirby's Dream Land. A big enough leap in difficulty to kill you quite a lot, but nothing insanely hard. Heck, I'd actually be pretty surprised if Nightmare mode even had a boss fight as difficult as the Kaboola fight in the Extra mode of Kirby's Dream Land. :/

I think I've finally figured out who I consider to be the "main characters" of Spyro's Adventure, and thankfully for my OCD all of those characters are getting series 2 figures. I think I'll buy all of the new characters, and the reposes of Spyro, Chop-Chop, Trigger Happy, Gil-Grunt, Stump Smash, Whirlwind, Flameslinger, and Terrafin.
