OMG I thaught I was the only one who played with them.I sometimes make a skylanders town and I even use my lego to make stores for the magic items,houses for them,a dock for the pirate seas ship,a graveyard for the crypt,on the edge of the town is the empire of ice,the dragons peak is the colloseum where they have battles for fun only,the town centre has the portal of power and the tower case is the look out tower just in case Kaos comes.LOL

Okay, we don't play with the toys, but we play the game. We play M rated games too like MK9 and Halo, and Call of Booty can suck it.

I'm 22 and my room is full of toys and games. Among other things, such as tarantulas

Don't have to worry about what girls think as I've already got a girlfriend. Some people at work know about how I collect video games and such, but I wouldn't go telling about how I buy toys lol.

I'm a parent and my sons are getting the game for Christmas. They have to wait. They're not at all pleased about it, but they're coping.

My logic is: when they finally collected Camo, Wham Shell, and Warnado - they didn't even bother playing the game with them. The novelty had worn off.

I think when you play the game for the first time...the more character figures, the better. Maybe by the time they play it a few more waves will be released (I hate the waves system). I also think my kids will have a better first time playing it experience this way.

Plus, they got SA for Christmas last year. Now it's a tradition!

^ There's nothing wrong with that =). I'm 19 (going on 20 tomorrow), and I like examining and playing around with the figures; that's part of the fun and initial intent of the franchise. I don't care if anyone finds it strange that I still like collecting figurines and Pokemon plushies because it's my life and not their's =). Like what Kappa's avatars say, they can just "DEAL WITH IT!" .

^ No, I don't see anything wrong with people using their imagination (some people seem to be lacking it these days due to relying on TV and video games for entertainment too often). Like I said in my previous post, I'm 20 and I still like making up background stories for my figures and playing around with them (I even still collect Pokemon plushies and other video game related characters and figures). One of the main keypoints of the game was to make the figures detailed and interesting as a collecting aspect and for people to enjoy and play with them - they are toys after-all.

So please don't judge us for using our:

LOL! That made me laugh. Honestly I'm a pretty regular looking guy. I just have a very expressive face and can make a lot of extreme faces. I also can't fake smile to save my life, so I tend to just look silly in photos since I usually look creepier when I fake smile.



But yeah, playing with the figures isn't weird. Heck, I'm 22 and I carry wham-shell with me on the occasional tip to the mall and take photos with him. I intend to do a "Wham-Shell hunts for Skylanders" photo journal when Giants comes out. It'll be Wham-Shell at various stores looking for the new skylanders. Stores don't tend to mind you taking a picture or two, but they don't allow you to take video. This is a much simpler, and safer way to do it. : )

That is actually what I intended to do as well. Though I may rethink my plan, I'm not sure, but if I do decide to get Giants later, I will be buying the figures before-hand as well.
So yes I say good plan on your part.
