Agreed. The arena *may* even be different. Since it's not just a gold variant, but rather a differently named item there should be at least something different.

i'm not sure of the exact store, but there is a exclusive GITD cynder and portal in the uk, available for pre order. I believe you can do it in store or online as well.

I'm guessing that Standard figures are $9.99, Lightcores are $11.99, Giants at $14.99, and Triple Packs are $24.99? That would be great if Giants only costed $14.99 USD, I was thinking something along the lines of $19.99 USD.

My guess is that Legendary Chill's figure will be LightCore, and she'll probably come out the same time as normal LC Chill does.
We've already got Legendaries of a new Skylander, Series 2 characters, and a Giant, so it would make sense that they would have a Legendary Light Core as well.

I just got mine in the mail! The cannon's light core feature is pretty awesome, the eyes of the dragon on the cannon glow blue as does the inside of the cannon barrel.

Weak. I have the sneaking suspicion that Skylanders Giants will be just as bad as Spyro's Adventure in terms of product availability. Scalpers will be first in line for everything.

The developers have said in interviews that there were power requirements to/from the wireless portals to ensure that features work (like how the simulated Wii nunchuck commands required them to use a USB dongle rather than counting on the built in wireless on the console) . I'd bet that the 3DS portal under battery power doesn't have enough juice to power the Lightcore feature. I assume this is also the real reason that the portals are wired in Giants. They admitted in the FGTV interview that the effect would be dimmer over wireless.

Once you have all the accolades, it doesn't take that many trips through the first part of the Kaos level to get to 10. I'm sure I'll still be able to get the wow pow but if for some reason I can't, I'll just reset.

Weird... I knew the online game wouldn't recognize the Cannon or Shroomboom... but it doesn't seem to recognize the reposed Chop Chop?
