Don't count on any of those from fanbases.
It's likely that the rest of the stuff from the Amazon leak WILL be Wave Two. Which means Sprocket, Flashwing, Sonic Boom, Stump Smash, Hot Head, and I believe a few more will come.

However... Otherwise we have NO PROOF! So seriously guys, please stop with the Wave predictions. It's getting on even my nerves now- coming from someone used to both getting shot at least 1/10 posts and blasted away at the speed of light.

This. I though that too when I saw that leak.

In fact, if anything, the more popular characters are more likely to be released last: that's why came last, they were most successful with testing groups, so they were essentially hype builders for the game's late releases, to keep people interested and make them wait for characters they might enjoy more.

I don't see how it could be based on fanbases.
I mean, Activision would have to relentlessly search over online forums after they release the first wave, trying to look for what the fans want as fast as they could so they could make their list, when they would normally already have most of the waves planned out.
Sorry, it just seems illogical.

I hope we get for wave 2.

As for hot dog.....

We are missing 1 giant, 1 LC, 2 new, 8 reposes, and 2 three packs from the amazon leak. What wave 2 did last year was help transition to smaller case counts and kept the actual figure available stable throughout Christmas. If this wave 2 it suggests keeping to the 12 count cases for singles or moving two different six packs as we saw in waves four throught five. The implications are that none of the original 9 single pack figures will be shipped out after wave 2 kicks in making them arder to get in late Nov and Dec inflating their value on Christmas lists and thus ebay value. If te ebay value of wave goes up so will wave 2 as collectors grab those also. The only way out of this conundrum is to keep the product for wave 1 stable throughout Christmas.

Remember how hard it was to find a Target Whirlwind last Christmas as Target stopped ordering more in early Nov. imagine this for all wave 1 figures if wave 2 swaps all of them out. This would be an effective strategy for reducing the amount of reposes on the shelf, but it will cause fans to be frusterated.

Just something to watch out for and be cautious of.

If the amazon leak is wave 1 &2:

Hothead will substitute one of the othe giants in the giant cases.

LC JetVac will substitute one of the LC in the LC cases

The single case will go from

2 Popfizz, 2 Frightrider, 2 Chill, 1 Terrafin, 1 Zook, 1 Ignitor, 1 Wirlwind, 1 SlamBam, 1 Triggerhappy

to
(hypothetical wave 2)

and the regular 3 packs would start shipping as

with no changes to te battle pack distribution

I am personally starting to hope the amazon leak is not a hint at wave 2 because I don't like this.

If you ask me the Wave One of Giants is the worst release of Skylanders yet but this possible Wave Two would be my favorite Wave yet.

I hope we get on wave 2

^ I don't know why you think Hot Dog will be in Wave Two. He's too popular and his figure is too good for Wave Two, IMO. I do want him sooner- but he is increduridiculously likely not to be that fast to arrive.

Agreed. Look on pretty much any other forum or website that mentions Sprocket, and pretty much everyone still hates her. Honestly, I think it's partly because Nibelilt and I were defending her right from the start that she has a somewhat larger fanbase on this site. (Or at least I like to believe we were partly responsible )

I think its silly to try and predict the order of release. Only thing we know for sure is the pre order figures!

Also to throw my 2 cents in, sprocket is my least fave and the worst of the new skylanders. Her hair color doesnt match her, the goggles are ugly and a wrench? really? Whats powerful looking about that!? Not to mention im not a huge fan of the girl characters that resemble people anyways... I'll buy her to have the new characters but she wont be opened or used :/

oh im also not upset with wave 1 because my favorite is being released (fright rider) and i cant really afford all the ones i really want yet

I'm pretty much 100% convinced that Eye Brawl will be the last Giant to be released. As for which of the regular characters will be released last? Well if it weren't for the amazon leak hinting otherwise, I'd have honestly said Sprocket. However I think it's pretty likely Hot Dog will be the final regular character released alongside Zap in a battle pack.

Good one ZapNorris I like the way you think. Eye Brawl is my most anticipated Giant I like the guy so much, that I actually guessed his catchphrase before it was confirmed. Also it would be awesome if Eye Brawl and Sprocket was in wave 2 then I'd be done with my collection from Giants.

That doesn't even make any sense. Switch Eye Brawl with Ninjini and bump Hot Dog and Flashy up a wave, and I'm good.

Also this is clearly just wishful thinking, but if anyone sees the guy selling skylanders giants figures on Ebay, you see on the Giant's boxes Thumpback and Eye Brawl with Swarm and Bouncer. I think it's very strange to just put those two of all giants on not just one, but all of the giant's backs. Again this is just wishful thinking and i hope no one gets annoyed about my logic.
